Ronaldo has a man massaging each calf. I have no idea why. It's not like he used either of them much during that 90 minutes.

I can't get my head around this game. It's really, really weird.

What chance of a late goal? If the tournament as a whole is anything to go by, not much. Just 19 of the 72 goals so far have come in the final 10 minutes.

It would help if we had even a single shot on target in this game.

A late change for each side. Ricardo Quaresma comes on for Joao Mario for Portugal, while Nikola Kalinic replaces Mario Mandzukic.

Vedran Corluka to the rescue. Just as Portugal look to have found some rare space in the Croatia half when Renato Sanches runs away from a challenge, the defender slides in to intercept a pass out to the left.

We have had quite a few late goals in this tournament. Are we going to get another? Please let there be another, just to spare us extra-time.

There should be a rule that if both sides want to bin extra-time and go straight to penalties, they can do it.
