Here he is. Christian Benteke races on, Kolo Toure trundling off. Jurgen Klopp has just hit the all-attack button. Surely time for a gung-ho approach...
Liverpool 1-3 Sevilla
Liverpool fans dig deep to belt out another rendition of 'You'll Never Walk Alone'. Their boys are struggling to outmuscle Sevilla though. The Spanish side looking comfortable. Time for big Christian Benteke? Got to go for it!

Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer in Basel
"Liverpool's giving it one last blast here as they try to summon up a Borussia Dortmund."
Liverpool 1-3 Sevilla
Nope. James Milner's right-wing corner is half cleared by a Sevilla head. Alberto Moreno is lurking on the edge of the area. "Shoooooot!" shout the Liverpool fans. He does. The ball whistles over the bar.
Liverpool 1-3 Sevilla
Is this the moment where the fightback starts? Better from Liverpool as they win a corner...

"Liverpool are all over the place. I wish we could give fans something to hang on to. At this moment in time Sevilla look like getting a fourth goal.?
Liverpool 1-3 Sevilla
If Liverpool are going to mount another remarkable European comeback then they had better be quick. Fifteen minutes left. Looking unlikely.

"My worry for Liverpool now is who is going to create the chances? Every time Sevilla go forward they are creating chances. There's nothing Liverpool can do about it."
Liverpool 1-3 Sevilla
Liverpool haven't got time to dither. Klopp tells Joe Allen to get ready, he's on for Adam Lallana. How the Reds could do with the actual Pirlo rather than the 'Welsh Pirlo' now...

"Every time that Sevilla run at Liverpool there are great big holes developing. Liverpool look absolutely fragile defensively. Sevilla are doing what Liverpool should have done. They are managing the game."
Liverpool 1-3 Sevilla
Liverpool are raging. Substitute Martin Skrtel makes his feelings known to the referee, earning himself a booking for his efforts. Jurgen Klopp and Sevilla rival Unai Emery, erm, 'discuss' the decision. They have opposing views of course.
The only thing that matters is that the goal stands. This Liverpool side need to channel their inner Istanbul.
Coke
Controversy. Sevilla skipper Coke is left all on his own on the right side of the Liverpool box as he collects a pass from the left. Coke keeps his cool, burying low under Simon Mignolet's body. Is he offside? The linesman has his flag wafting. But the referee disagrees! The goal stands...

Liverpool 1-2 Sevilla
Divock Origi is stripped off and tying his bootlaces. Almost time for that change...
Liverpool 1-2 Sevilla
Remarkable turnaround for Sevilla since the break. Now Liverpool need to dig deep in a similar fashion. Less than 25 minutes to avoid a miserable flight back to Blighty...
Liverpool 1-2 Sevilla
Mark Lawrenson
Former Liverpool defender on BBC Radio 5 live
"It's a brilliantly worked goal, a superb first-time finish giving Simon Mignolet no chance whatsoever. It's only what Sevilla deserve because Kevin Gameiro should have made it 2-1 not so long ago. Liverpool are all over the place."
Coke
It has been coming. Sevilla take the lead for the first time tonight as skipper Coke guides into the bottom corner from 18 yards. Team-mate Vitolo is the architect, gliding through the Reds defence with the grace of a swan. He plays a couple of slick one-twos before Coke muscles him out of the way to blast in. Quality finish.
