    Paris St-Germain v Lille (20:00 BST)

Paris St-Germain are on course for a clean sweep of France's four domestic trophies, and Laurent Blanc has picked a strong line-up as he attempts to keep alive that possibility. Lucas Moura gets the nod over Edinson Cavani in attack, while Salvatore Sirigu replaces Kevin Trapp in goal, as he has regularly in their domestic cup ties this season. Thiago Motta remains out with a thigh problem.

Paris St-Germain: Sirigu; Aurier, Marquinhos, Thiago Silva, Kurzawa; Pastore, Rabiot, Matuidi; Lucas Moura, Ibrahimovic, Di Maria.

    Paris St-Germain v Lille (20:00 BST)

It's not all about La Liga tonight - there's a trophy in France to hand out too, as the Coupe de la Ligue final takes place at the Stade de France.

Runaway league champions Paris St-Germain, winners of this competition for each of the last two seasons, take on Lille, who are in the final for the first time.

    Barcelona 1-0 Sporting Gijon

Almost a second from Lionel Messi as Luis Suarez knocks the ball down to the Argentine wizard, but his low effort is saved by the feet of Ivan Cuellar.

GOAL - Barcelona 1-0 Sporting Gijonpublished at 12 mins

    Lionel Messi

Sporting Gijon are furious but I can't see any problems with that goal. Ivan Rakitic plays a ball over the top which Luis Suarez tries to get onto. He might collide with keeper Ivan Cuellar, who punches the ball clear, but there was no foul committed. The keeper is on the ground as the ball comes to Lionel Messi, who heads into an empty net from about 18 yards out.

    Barcelona 0-0 Sporting Gijon

Sporting Gijon should lead. Miguel Angel Guerrero breaks and crosses it to Alex Menendez, who is 12 yards out, but his first effort is saved. He gets a second bite at the cherry but that's also cleared by Barcelona. A huge let-off.

    Barcelona 0-0 Sporting Gijon

A physical start for Barcelona. Sergio Busquets was lucky not to be booked for a rough tackle and Neymar has just landed on a defender's head.

    Barcelona 0-0 Sporting Gijon

It's pretty much all Barcelona so far. I wonder if it will get nervy if they fail to score an early goal. Luis Suarez slips in the box but still manages to get up and play a failed one-two with Lionel Messi.

    Barcelona 0-0 Sporting Gijon

Early chance for Barcelona and Lionel Messi heads over Sergi Roberto's cross from close range. Messi is very good at so many things but maybe someone else there would have been better.

Not long to go. Barcelona are third in La Liga at the moment. Scarcely believable. What a title race!

  12. How did it come to this?published at 19:22

Coming into the start of April, Barcelona were nine points clear at the top of La Liga and unbeaten in 39 games.

But a defeat by Real Madrid in El Clasico sparked a phenomenal collapse.

They lost their next two La Liga games, and got dumped out of the Champions League by Atletico Madrid.

However an 8-0 win over Deportivo on Wednesday will have stopped the rot. Or so they hope anyway.

Barcelona v Sporting Gijon (19:30 BST)

If Barcelona win today they will go back to the top of the table with three games to go. Their head-to-head record with both Madrid sides mean they will win the league if they finish joint on points.

However, if Barca fail to win tonight, then it's out of their hands.

    A reminder of the teams...

Dani Alves is left on Barca's bench - with Sergi Roberto taking his place - as the three lads start up front.

Sporting start playmaker Alen Halilovic, who is on loan from... Barca.

Sporting Gijon: Cuellar, Vranjes, Hernandez, Lichnovsky, Lopez, Mascarell, Rachid, Perez, Halilovic, Menendez, Guerrero.

    Atletico Madrid 1-0 Malaga

Guillem Balague on Sky Sports suggests Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone will get a three-match touchline ban in La Liga following his red card. That is the rest of the domestic season.

    Atletico Madrid 1-0 Malaga

Atletico Madrid are the kings of 1-0. They were one-nilling it up to the max when Leicester were in the Football League.

Atletico Madrid go top of La Liga (for a couple of hours anyway).

    Atletico Madrid 1-0 Malaga

Koke picks out Fernando Torres, who seems to forget he's in good form. It's 2014 Torres all over again as he takes a million touches before having a shot deflected over.

    Seconds left.

    Atletico Madrid 1-0 Malaga

I can't see a Malaga winner coming here. Atletico are taking their time with a goal-kick.
