    Murray Burnell
BBC Radio London & BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

"AFC Wimbledon probably have more pressure on them to get the win, being at home.

"You're starting to get the feeling that one goal would be enough to decide this game, but obviously not the tie."

  2. ouch!

Wimbledon 0-0 Accringtonpublished at 53 mins

Accrington's Josh Windass is treated like a bit of a pin ball by Wimbledon's defence. Barry Fuller with a full blooded shoulder into the Accrington forward, who then crashes into onrushing Dons keeper Kelle Roos.

  3. Wimbledon 0-0 Accringtonpublished at 51 mins

It's been five minutes of pressure on the Accrington defence and it must be said they are just holding on.

A lot of scrambling going on between defenders Mark Hughes, Tom Davies and goalkeeper Ross Etheridge. Wimbledon looking threatening.

  4. Wimbledon 0-0 Accringtonpublished at 49 mins

Accrington invite trouble as defender Mark Hughes gets a clearance all wrong and weakly puts a back-pass through to Ross Etheridge, who sees the ball out for a corner.

That was messy, but from the resulting corner the visitors get away with it.

  5. Wimbledon 0-0 Accringtonpublished at 48 mins

Yeah, Accrington Stanley are not going to let go of that goal any time soon. Do the maths, you could argue that a draw against Wimbledon ultimately cost Stanley automatic promotion.

We have a nice sub plot to this half then.

  6. KICK-OFFpublished at 46 mins

    Wimbledon 0-0 Accrington

Wimbledon get proceedings back underway and at the minute you would have to say Accrington boss John Coleman will be the happier of the two managers.

They have a second leg at home to look forward to on Wednesday. A draw at Kingsmeadow suits them just fine.

One statistic that is worth highlighting as it remains scoreless is that Accrington have won their previous five league games away from home and only conceded one goal. They certainly know how to get results on the road.

"It's popping up off the surface. They're just having to take an extra touch sometimes. You want to be extra sure, with the execution of a pass."

We are still waiting for the first shot on target at Kingsmeadow. Can either side bring this first leg to life after the break? The second half is coming up shortly.

Meanwhile, over in north London, it was a memorable afternoon for Arsenal Ladies at Wembley.

The Gunners beat holders Chelsea 1-0 to lift the Women's FA Cup for a record 14th time.

In case you are just tuning in, it has been a busy day of Football League play-off action.

At lunchtime, Hull enjoyed a 3-0 away win at Derby in the first leg of their Championship tie, surely leaving Steve Bruce's side with one foot in a Wembley final.

There was also a 3-0 win in the teatime kick-off, as League One Barnsley won convincingly at home to Walsall, helped by a Sam Winnall brace and a couple of deflections.

  11. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:18

    Wimbledon 0-0 Accrington

The half finishes goalless and as I just pointed out, neither goalkeeper has been tested.

However, Wimbledon's Lyle Taylor lashed a shot just wide for Wimbledon and Billy Kee really should have put Accrington ahead when he had a free header in the box.

  12. Wimbledon 0-0 Accringtonpublished at 45 mins

As we click into stoppage time at the end of the first half, I can report that there has not been a shot on target.

Sure, there has been a shot flashed past post here and a header hopelessly off target there. As for that razor edge finish you want in a big game like this, well that has been absent.

Matty Pearson takes no prisoners. That much is a fact in this game, with the Accrington defender crashing his way around the field and generally acting like a human shield for the visitors.

  14. Accrington's best chance?published at 39 mins

    Wimbledon 0-0 Accrington

    Bradley Allen
Former QPR striker on BBC Radio London & BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

"Apart from Windass' free-kick, arguably that's their best chance. He got it oh-so-wrong, McConville. That's three off the tee, that!"

  15. Wimbledon 0-0 Accringtonpublished at 38 mins

Jeers from Wimbledon fans as they watch Sean McConville come up with an embarrassing miskick on the edge of the area. The Accrington striker was going for glory, but hit nothing but air. It really did look that bad.

  16. Wimbledon 0-0 Accringtonpublished at 33 mins

Some say Accrington play like Real Madrid. Well, only one person has ever said that and it was Accrington manager John Coleman. He did also add that they are a little Sunday league as well.

Anyway, I am making a point. Accrington have grown into this game and are looking on top.

However, a dangerous ball into the box prompts Accrington goalkeeper Ross Etheridge to come out strong. Good statement, that from the keeper.

  17. Wimbledon 0-0 Accringtonpublished at 29 mins

Accrington win a fee-kick in a dangerous spot just at the top of the box. Billy Kee goes down like a sack of potatoes as he is clipped as he shoots.

    What is to come...

The answer: Nothing. Nothing came of it as Josh Windass sends the free-kick well over.

Andy Barcham, put your breaks on.

Just when the ball seemed to break kindly for the Wimbledon man after an Accrington defender slipped in his own half, the referee blows for a foul. Harsh, when it looked on like Donkey Kong.

  19. CHANCEpublished at 21 mins

    Wimbledon 0-0 Accrington

    What. A. Miss.

Billy Kee, Accrington's leading scorer this season, has put a relatively straight forward header wide.

Kee got on the end of some neat, patient build-up but simply failed to punish Wimbledon as Josh Windass delivered a delicious ball from the right.

  20. Wimbledon 0-0 Accringtonpublished at 16 mins

Wimbledon looking very assured at the back. Accrington simply have not had a sniff in the opening 15 minutes.

At the other end, Lyle Taylor looks like he bursting to ignite proceedings and the way the Dons attack and press Stanley's defence when they are trying to clear the ball is impressive.
