Yes! No! A delicious corner is drifted into the penalty area. Plymouth striker Jamille Matt gets the yard he needs on the defender, rises tall, and then heads it just wide of the right hand post.

    So close, yet so far.

Plymouth's Graham Carey is tripped by Ben Davies and wins a free-kick level with the penalty box, on the left hand side of the penalty area.

It's rolled to Jake Jervis who just isn't at the races today and hits a shot into a line of Portsmouth defenders.

"Plymouth's diminutive Scottish winger Gregg Wylde has lit up the past few minutes and set Home Park alight.

"He's scaring the life out of full-back Ben Davies and putting some excellent balls into the box.

"This place is really bouncing now - all we need is a goal."

Matt's blazed it over the crossbar! The net should have been busting! What an opportunity for Plymouth Argyle!

  6. CLOSE!published at 58 mins

    Plymouth 0-0 Portsmouth (agg 2-2)

Big chance for Plymouth's hero in the first match. Jamille Matt finds the space inside the penalty area, towards the right.

He takes a touch to drag it away from the defender then blasts the ball over the bar.

You have a feeling it's going to be one goal that will win this game, but who is going to get it?

    Plymouth 0-0 Portsmouth (agg 2-2)

Ay up! Plymouth have now turned up to this second half.

You'll be surprised to know that Jake Jervis has yet again missed a chance. This time in an attempt to curl it from the right hand side of the box to the left corner.

Plymouth have then had two balls from the left hand side dealt with by Portsmouth. The first is caught by the goalkeeper Ryan Allsopp, the second is out for a corner. It comes to nothing.

  8. CLOSE!published at 54 mins

    Plymouth 0-0 Portsmouth (agg 2-2)

Plymouth goalkeeper Luke McCormick, who had a quiet first half, shows some rustiness. He comes out of his area to clear the ball but gives it straight to Gary Roberts.

A couple of men stand in his way, but it's virtually an open goal. He messes that up badly, it goes horribly high and wide.

That's the chance you have to take in these games.

"Pompey have come out this half and, boy, do they mean business.

"The tension in the home fans seems to be increasing even more after those chances for Gary Roberts and Adam McGurk.

"Argyle do not want to end their season at this stage of the play-offs for the second season in a row."

The Pompey fans are cheering! Albeit briefly.

Ben Davies is the man who stands over the ball, and fires in a low free-kick - but it hits the side-netting.

It all came from Gary Roberts, who won his side a free-kick on the left hand side of the box, 20 yards from goal. Curtis Nelson, the Plymouth captain, the offender with a push in the back.

Blimey, this is more like it boys.

Plymouth race down the right hand side immediately after that Portsmouth attack, at the vital moment Gregg Wylde slips and so his ball is cleared.

Adam McGurk then gets on the ball for Pompey and fires a shot down the throat of Plymouth goalkeeper Luke McCormick.

Role reversal to begin this second half. It's Portsmouth who have started the brighter of the two sides.

Gary Roberts got into the Plymouth box, but his shot is well blocked by a crowd of three or four Plymouth players.

The resulting corner doesn't lead to anything. It's Plymouth struggling to clear their lines.

  13. KICK-OFF - Second halfpublished at 46 mins

    Plymouth 0-0 Portsmouth (agg 2-2)

We are back and under way in the second half.

Plymouth the better going for goal, Portsmouth the better on the ball.

Remember, it's extra time and penalties if we are still level after 90 minutes - and away goals don't count.

  18. Old Trafford evacuated over security concernspublished at 18:56 British Summer Time 15 May 2016

    Premier League final day

The big news of the afternoon concerns Manchester United and Bournemouth at Old Trafford. The match had to be abandoned following security questions over a suspect package.

Initially only the Stretford End and the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand were emptied, before developments led to a full evacuation of the stadium.

The game was subsequently called off, and it is unsure as to when the match will now take place.

"You can start to feel the tension in the air here at Home Park.

"This game means so much to both sets of fans, but with Pompey having used two substitutes you'd have to think Argyle would be favourites if this game went beyond the 90 minutes."

There have been lots of midfield tussles. It's been a wasted 45 minutes for both teams. It isn't a classic.
