Hull have really come into this game over the past five minutes and look strong all of a sudden.

Abel Hernandez is clean through and prods towards goal but Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Keiren Westwood brilliantly denies him with the deftest of touches.

Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Keiren Westwood, rather indecisively, gives away a corner to Hull, out of nothing, carrying a long ball over the line.

It goes deep to the edge of the area and an unmarked Abel Hernandez header is cleared off the line by Kieran Lee. 

Michael Dawson follows in for the rebound but the Owls clear - but was a hand used by Lee there to deny Dawson? The referee says no.

That was Hull's best moment so far.

It is understandable for some of the players to be rather nervous... this match is worth an estimated minimum of £170m to the winner. No pressure then, lads.

It's been a relatively slow start at Wembley, it has to be said - well, certainly compared to last year.

Norwich were 2-0 up against Middlesbrough by this stage in the 2015 final, thanks to early goals from Cameron Jerome and Nathan Redmond.

Sheffield Wednesday's Jack Hunt tries to catch a long ball down the right and keep it in play but it runs out for a Hull goal kick.

The Owls fans are making most of the noise, I have to say. They're bouncing. Literally.

We could be in for a long evening, of course.

Extra-time and - if needed - penalties, will decide this match if the score remains level after 90 minutes.

Sheffield Wednesday are only the second team in the past 11 seasons to finish sixth in the Championship table and reach the play-off final.

The other nine all fell at the semi-final stage, but the only side that made it to Wembley - Blackpool in 2010 - were promoted to the Premier League.

Can Carlos Carvalhal's side keep up their decent start this afternoon and follow Blackpool's lead?

Hull goalkeeper Eldin Jakupovic tentatively punches away the free-kick, rather nervously, I'd say. Sheffield Wednesday will be the happier of the two sides so far.

The Owls are putting on a bit of pressure and they win another free-kick, this time close to the edge of the penalty area, just off the centre of the goal.
