Not a lot in the game, I'm struggling to remember a really good chance from either side. It's been close, it's been competitive, nothing between the two sides. Wimbledon slightly carried the greater threat, but 0-0 is probably about right.

That's the end of the first half. AFC Wimbledon have slightly shaded it, but it's goalless.

Last year's League Two play-off final between Southend and Wycombe began slowly but delivered late drama with extra-time and penalties, so don't go anywhere.

One minute of added time has been signalled, at the end of a pretty cagey first half.

Gregg Wylde, down the Plymouth left, attempts a low cross but it is far too close to the goalkeeper this time.

Wimbledon appeal for a penalty as the ball bounces up and strikes a Plymouth hand in the box but it would have been very, very harsh. Rightly, the referee says play on.

Callum Kennedy then strikes left-footed at goal from range but it is saved by Luke McCormick.

"Gregg Wylde looks to be Argyle's best threat so far as the diminutive left-winger is giving Wimbledon right-back Barry Fuller a torrid time.

"With Jamille Matt and Jake Jervis in the box, you'd think that sooner or later they're going to get on the end of one of his crosses."

Darius Charles, what a crucial header! The Wimbledon defender gets a vital touch on Gregg Wylde's cross to flick it away from danger, just a split second before Jamille Matt could head towards goal from very close range. Plymouth looked certain to score!

At the other end, a Wimbledon free-kick comes to nothing.

An inswinging Plymouth corner from their right is headed behind for another corner.

This time, Jake Jervis' right-footed delivery is way, way too deep and goes out harmlessly for a throw-in on the far side.

Plymouth dropped into the fourth tier in 2011 and have had to steadily rebuild following a period of financial uncertainty.

The Pilgrims were beaten in last season's play-off semi-finals by Wycombe, and have gone a stage further in their first year under the management of Derek Adams.

They've made a relatively slow start to this play-off final but there is plenty of time left in the first half yet.

Plymouth haven't got their game going. It's been all Wimbledon in the last 15 minutes. They've got a set way of playing, and why would you change it when Tom Elliott is causing the problems that he's causing?

Goodness me, that's a lucky escape for Plymouth - we've very nearly seen an own goal.

Kelvin Mellor almost turns into his own net as he inadvertently deflects a dangerous Wimbledon cross just wide of the near post.

The Pilgrims do well to clear the resulting corner.

A long ball forward by Wimbledon, flicked on by Tom Elliott for the onrushing Lyle Taylor, is gathered by Plymouth goalkeeper Luke McCormick.

But he is caught by Taylor, sliding in afterwards. Ouch.

No malice there at all, just a coming together, and both players are OK.

Really good play again from the two front players from Wimbledon. You don't have to do an awful lot - just get some sort of quality forward, Tom Elliott will make something of it, and I love the way Lyle Taylor works off him.
