"Austria are starting to get a bit frustrated now. They clearly expect to win this game and are trying the killer ball every time. They're too impatient.

"Hungary seem to have targeted Marko Arnautovic. His reputation goes before him - we all know what happens when he loses his head."

Excellent stuff from referee Clement Turpin. Adam Szalai goes down after David Alaba's sliding tackle and then holds the ball to try to force the free-kick. He concedes one for handball instead.

Hungary midfielder Zoltan Gera has his side's second shot on target, also from distance, and again it's easily held by Robert Almer. They're pretty much matching the Austrians so far.

They've all stayed at home to read this live text I presume.

Zlatko Junuzovic - who assisted 10 Bundesliga goals for Werder Bremen last season - is OK to continue.  

He is the last man other than David Alaba to be named Austrian player of the year - back in 2010.

Austria's attacking midfielder Zlatko Junuzovic is down injured after being caught by Zoltan Gera. They're warming a player up just in case as he comes off for treatment.

Basle striker Marc Janko, who will turn 33 during Euro 2016, was his country's top scorer during qualifying.

He ended the season with a thigh injury and did not play for his club after 10 April. However, he has featured in two friendlies for Austria in the build-up to this tournament and starts today.

Austria's second chance of the game and it's that man David Alaba again. Marko Arnautovic plays the Bayern Munich player in but his first-time shot from inside the box is saved easily enough by Gabor Kiraly. 

At the other end, Laszlo Kleinheisler drives one over from long range.

Hungary just having a spell of possession now, they go all the way back to Gabor Kiraly and back forward again. It all comes to an end when former Newcastle trainee Tamas Kadar overhits an attempted through-ball. They're not overawed in their first Euro game since the 1970s.

Craig: Can we get an update on Kiraly's pants please for those of us who can't see the game?

Had David Alaba's shot gone in after 28 seconds, it would have been the quickest European Championship goal ever. Nobody has ever scored in the first minute before.

"It's very obvious Austria don't have a lot of respect for Hungary on the pitch - they're pressuring them as soon as they get on the ball, and they keep on winning it back, too. 

"The Austrians are looking really sharp, really up for it."

David Alaba sweeps a ball forward from midfield but it's too powerful for Marko Arnautovic to reach and it drifts out for a goal kick.

And a minute later, Hungary have the first shot on target as Laszlo Kleinheisler shoots from 25 yards but it's straight at keeper Robert Almer.
