The fans are nervous, the players are nervous, the management are nervous, heck I'm nervous! Such a big final 10 minutes for both sides.

Chris Fletcher: Sissoko is a machine when he gets going!

James Liggins: Sissoko there… showing everything he wasn't for Newcastle this season.

Dan Holmes: Payet is unreal. Deserved a goal.

  3. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 80 mins

    Switzerland 0-0 France

A 0-0 suits both teams and it perhaps shows as Switzerland replace winger Xherdan Shaqiri with former Manchester City man Gelson Fernandes. France also bring off Antoine Griezmann for Blaise Matuidi.

Dimitri Payet then hits another belter of a strike, swerving wide of the far corner...

  4. AS IT STANDSpublished at 21:34 British Summer Time 19 June 2016

    France win the Group.

Switzerland qualify for the last 16.

Albania finish third on three points, will have to wait and see.

  5. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 76 mins

    Romania 0-1 Albania

Albania have withdrawn into themselves now to try and see out this game. A dangerous tactic that almost backfires as Florin Andone breaks the offside trap, but smashes an effort against the bar.

The substitutions have made a difference for Romania. Much more zip about their play now.

That would have been goal of the tournament! What a run from Sissoko, 40-50 yards then picked out Payet who smashed it against the bar. Sissoko has been magnificent tonight.

  7. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 75 mins

    Switzerland 0-0 France

WOW! That would have been one of THE great Euro goals! Moussa Sissoko bursts down the right, beating two men for pace, and then stands up a lovely cross. It goes beyond the two players in the middle, Dimitri Payet runs in from the left, doesn't try and hammer the volley, just opens up his side foot and steers it back across goal, and against the underside of the crossbar and away.

    What a superb effort.

    Romania 0-1 Albania

I'm spying a few nervous faces in both the Albania and Romania ends. The chants have given way to nervous whistles as we enter the final 15 minutes.

Suddenly there is a chance for Romania forward Gabriel Torje. He has just the goalkeeper to beat after being picked out with a square pass but before he can shoot the flag is up for offside.

    Replays show he was onside...

  9. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 74 mins

    Switzerland 0-0 France

Swiss striker Breel Embolo comes off after a largely ineffective game, on comes Haris Seferovic after a largely ineffective tournament.

    Switzerland 0-0 France

Paul Pogba, picking the ball up on the edge of his own area and then powering downfield, very Vieira-like, before feeding Dimitri Payet on the left.

Back to Pogba, touched on to Antonie Griezmann, who lets it go through his legs - but Andre-Pierre Gignac doesn't read it. Move breaks down.

Switzerland's counter-attacking game is on hold. They would snap your hand off for a 0-0 now.

  11. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 69 mins

    Romania 0-1 Albania

    Anghel IordanescuImage source, Reuters

Romania need to find some magic from somewhere and coach Anghel Iordanescu turns to the bench in the hope it's on there. On comes forward Florin Andone. He's scored 26 goals in 52 appearances for Spanish side Cordoba but has only one goal for Romania. Adrian Popa is the man to make way.

  12. ouch!

    Romania 0-1 Albania

Time is ticking away for Romania, but they have a free-kick in a good position. It's fairly central and 30 yards from goal. Lucian Sanmartean takes it, but smashes the ball into the wall.

If we're being honest, this second half has been a nonsense. Rubbish.

  14. Ground staff trying to fix the pitchpublished at 67 mins

    Switzerland 0-0 France

This was the scene at half-time as ground staff tried to plug the many holes in this Stade Pierre-Mauroy pitch.

And as I type that Bacary Sagna is the latest man to fall over! Stay on your feet lads.

    Romania 0-1 Albania

Ciprian Tatarusanu is having an evening to forget in the Romania goal. He looks very nervous and fails to hold a fairly tame Ledian Memushaj shot.

"He's got chocolate fingers," says BBC co-commentator Mark Lawrenson. Solid description.

First the shirts and now the ball.

Watch as Valon Behrami's tackle on Antoine Griezmann bursts the match ball.

Dimitri Payet's first touch is a straightforward one but it's enough to get the crowd into full voice. He's gone from a relatively low key West Ham signing to the talisman of a host nation in a matter of a year.

It’s about time. Kingsley Coman had a decent first half but hasn’t got himself going in the second. Getting Dimitri Payet on the pitch will lift everyone.

    Can he do it again?

They should have made France and Switzerland continue playing with that burst football. Quality of the play couldn't have got much worse if they had.
