  3. A real claassic?published at 18:46 British Summer Time 19 June 2016

    Romania v Albania (20:00 BST)

If you glanced at the fixture list before Euro 2016 got under way, then no-one would blame you for having to take much notice of Romania versus Albania. On paper it's not a game to get the pulses racing.

However, today it has the potential to be a real classic, because both sides have to go for the win. A point for Albania will almost certainly mean elimination, while a point for Romania offers no guarantee of a place in the last 16.

It's time to go hard or go home.

  8. On the road againpublished at 18:39 British Summer Time 19 June 2016

The cavalcades are rolling, France and Romania have arrived at their respective stadiums, while the Swiss and Albanians remain on the road. It's quite an operation.

France manager Didier Deschamps has been out on to the pitch in Lille. After an inspection confirmed that the pitch was made of grass, two goals were erected and the roof was open, he was back on his toes into the dressing rooms.

Who needs what in Group A?

All four sides technically still have qualification issues to play for.

Kings of the late goal, hosts France, are already assured of a place in the knockout stage.

They will top Group A and set up a last-16 match in Lyon next Sunday with a point tonight.

Switzerland need a point to secure their passage, and can top the group with a win.

Romania must beat Albania to have a chance of qualifying. If they win and Switzerland lose, Romania could still finish in second place.

Albania must beat Romania to have a chance of finishing third. They would then have a wait to see if they have enough to go through...

And so it comes to this.

It only feels like five minutes since the start of Euro 2016 but already, before you know it, we are at the end of Group A.

Two games tonight to decide who will join hosts France in progressing to the last 16. Will the French rest some players and take their eye off the ball?

Or is it full steam ahead in Lille as Les Bleus look to cement their place as group winners?

    We shall see...
