Weiss has a pop for Slovakia from the edge of the box but a deflection takes the sting out of it and makes it easy for Michael McGovern to save. Northern Irish backs firmly against the wall now.

Almost a Slovakia own goal! Northern Ireland have been camped in their own half practically since the break but they nearly snatch the lead with a rare attack. Paddy McNair's driven cross from the right is met by the diving Martin Skrtel with a touch that needs quick reflexes from Matus Kozacik to keep out.

Oh, what a ball! Slovakia's best move of the match ends with a ball driven across goal from the rigth and just past the diving Marek Hamsik at the near post.

Northern Ireland have 10 minutes to see out. If they don't concede they will head to the Euros as the team possessing the longest unbeaten streak. The form team, if you will. Who would have thought it?

They may be digging in, but Northern Ireland have no way out when they do get the ball. It is asking a lot to survive 10 minutes under constant pressure.
