Big chance early in the second half. Patrik Hrosovsky plays a belter of a ball inside the Northern Ireland full-back for Vladimir Weiss, but he makes a real mess of his angled effort, which he scoops over the bar as if he is wearing jester's shoes.

The game is back under way. We've had one change from Northern Ireland. Jamie Ward is off, replaced by Josh Magennis.

Matus Kozacik, you lucky boy. Chris Baird strikes the free-kick low and through the wall. It should be an easy save for the home keeper but he spills it and just recovers in time to flick the ball away from Steven Davis, who would otherwise surely have put the away side ahead from just a few yards out.

"Mak's second touch was poor but I am going to give credit to McGovern, he stayed tall and spread himself just at the right time.

Huge chance for Slovakia! Robert Mak runs clear of the Northern Ireland defence but his second touch is the kind you'd expect from the Honey Monster and it allows Michael McGovern to race out and dive at his feet to block.

Oliver Norwood is over the free-kick, but his delivery is awful and headed clear by the wall. A waste.

This is a chance. Kyle Lafferty gets the wrong side of Jan Durica on the right side of the pitch and is dragged back. Free-kick just on the edge of the box...
