  2. Post-match reactionpublished at 22:05 British Summer Time 4 June 2016

    France 3-0 Scotland

Former Rangers midfielder Derek Ferguson on Radio Scotland: "In hindsight I don't think we should have taken these two games against Italy and France, because the confidence has been shot a bit. I think it has had an adverse effect, and could have put us back a bit. Our next game is against Malta and of course we are capable of beating them. Hopefully we will get a bit of confidence and a feel-good factor back in that game."

  3. When Ali came to Glasgowpublished at 22:04 British Summer Time 4 June 2016

If the result in Metz has left you reeling, imagine how veteran reporter and avid Scotland fan Chick Young is feeling tonight. Earlier, he shared his memories of meeting the late, great Muhammad Ali, one of his sporting heroes.

    France 3-0 Scotland

We may be light on post-match reaction this evening because there's a rush to the airport to catch a flight. However, if there's a chance of an interview you can be sure our reporter Alasdair Lamont will get it for us. It would be interesting to hear what Scotland manager Gordon Strachan made of the 90 minutes.

  5. Scotland 'miles away' from Frenchpublished at 21:53 British Summer Time 4 June 2016

    France 3-0 Scotland

Former Scotland assistant boss Peter Houston on Radio Scotland: "There may have been a bit of end-of-season stuff going on, with players mentally switching off and coming up against better quality players. I am sure Gordon [Strachan] will re-group and in September they have to be at it because it is important they get a good start in their World Cup group if we are to qualify for the first time in many years. Tonight has shown we are miles away from being a class side like the French."

Former Scotland assistant boss Peter Houston on Radio Scotland: "The only player who has stood up for Scotland has been David Marshall. He has been brilliant. It shows we are still producing good goalkeepers. He has always stood up to the pressure. It was another wonderful save, otherwise it would have been 4-0."
