This was the state of Tommi's before the match. Imagine the scenes now?

    Triple cheeseburgers all round.

  3. HALF-TIMEpublished at 17:47 British Summer Time 18 June 2016

    Iceland 1-0 Hungary

As BBC commentator Steve Wilson just said, if it stays like this Iceland will have virtually qualified for the last 16.

    Let that sink in.

Just the one added minute. They hate stoppage time at this tournament.

Darren Banks: Absolutely the right decision from the ref to give the penalty - keepers get too much protection

Ross Quinn: Totally correct there. Kiraly didn't have control and then the defender went in harshly

Ashic Mahtab: Is the entire population of Iceland in that stadium? Noise levels are incredible.

Never in doubt, he is one of the most sound technical players in the Premier League. But I am, not sure about the penalty, I thought the way he went down was theatrical.

But Kiraly caused his own problems at the corner, it was a big mistake and that could be key in this game.

    Gylfi Sigurdsson

The Swansea man confidently strokes the ball past Gabor Kiraly.

    What a scoreline for Iceland.

  9. PENALTY TO ICELANDpublished at 38 mins

    Cripes!

Gabor Kiraly, who I had been praising, fails to clutch the ball from a right-wing cross.

From the resulting scramble in the area, Aron Gunnarsson is deemed to have been tackled unfairly by Tamas Kadar.

    Sergei Karasev waves away protests.

Good play from the forward when one on one, but the goalkeeper stood up well although you've got to do better than that when shooting in that situation.

    Iceland 0-0 Hungary

Ragnar Sigursson gets a crucial foot in to divert the ball out just as Balazs Dzsudzsak was about to shoot.

    It's getting quite exciting now.

By the way, according to Dzsudzsak's Wikipedia page, the winger owns two Porches. He might afford himself a third if he scores today.

  12. GREAT SAVE!published at 32 mins

    Iceland 0-0 Hungary

They might take the mick out of his trackie bottoms, but Gabor Kiraly just showed that the cotton pants have not slowed his reactions as he spreads himself to prevent Johann Gudmundsson from scoring from eight yards.

    Great block 40-year-old man.

Iceland (left) sitting a little deeper while Hungary look to be more on the front foot up to now. This, no doubt, will be the pattern for much of the match.

Callum Steel: This could be a better game than expected, two teams who are just happy to be here

Ross Rollo: Great atmosphere between #ISL and #HUN fans. Who says the 'little' teams shouldn't be there. I wish #Scotland had made it!

Rick Whitehill: All blue v all white, classic Subbuteo game

At the moment the Hungarians are dominant in possession, they are dictating the play and look in control.

Nice one touch stuff from Hungary in the middle of the pitch, but the final pass from Zoltan Gera has the accuracy of someone throwing a tin of gloss at a paint-by-numbers page.

Former Newcastle player Tamas Kadar does well to nod an Iceland corner away from danger with Jon Dadi Bodvarsson lurking in the area.

They're a tall bunch are Iceland and will probably cause Hungary one or two problems on the ol' set-pieces.

Lazlo Kleinheisler's a good player, he played well in the first Hungary game and he's got a lot of energy.

Skipper Balazs Dzsudzsak smacks one from near the edge of the area but it's blocked by Aron Gunnarsson - who seemed a wee bit winded by it. However, he recovers in quick time. Lovely.

Moments later Dzsudzsak's strike from eight yards is deflected out for a corner. Nothing comes from the resulting set-piece.
