A bit of controversy here, almost, when James Milner fails to keep the ball in play with a desperate slide near the left touchline but the officials let the game continue. The home crowd whistle their disapproval but Liverpool's luck does not last because Daniel Sturridge scoops his shot over when the ball is sent into the Burnley area.

The Reds have to be careful, mind. Just before that Firmino effort, Ragnar Klavan switched off and Andre Gray almost got in on goal.
