In his post-mach press conference Arsene Wenger's being asked about new signings. 

He's going over the same point he made quite bullishly on Friday. 

"It's not just about spending the money. We are ready to spend the money but we have to find players who will improve our team.

"Nobody speaks about the performance of Rob Holding today - he is English, he is 20 years old, you should be happy. But I am sorry he didn't cost £55m. 

"We don't speak about the performances anymore and I think that is not right."

Adeel Ejaz: Leicester have got to take the chances and win against these small teams if they want to defend their title...

Leicester midfielder Danny Drinkwater went down under a challenge from Laurent Koscielny just before the end of the first half - the fans wanted a penalty. 

Should it have been?

"I wouldn't go down if there wasn't a touch - there was obviously some contact but the ref's not given it so I can't complain," Drinkwater says.

So Leicester's wait for a victory over Arsenal goes on - they haven't beaten the Gunners in their last 20 league games (D6 L14).

This was certainly an improvement on last season's 5-2 defeat at the King Power Stadium, but there's a sense they left it all too late.  

They didn't manage a shot on target until the 92nd minute...

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger speaking to BT Sport:

"We wanted to win the game. We gave absolutely everything to win the game. It was a game of high intensity. After conceding four goals we produced a great defensive performance. Leicester were not champions for no reason, they were well organised.

On the incident which saw Danny Drinkwater go to ground in the penalty area under the challenge:

"I have to watch the incident again in slow motion. 

On the incident which saw Ahmed Musa fall in the box under the challenge of Hector Bellerin:

"Leicester are good at provoking in the box, they got many penalties last year."

On possible transfers:

"I'm a bit fed up to say the same thing, like we do not want to spend. We analyse everything and then make the right signings.

On clubs spending big money:

"What matters to me is that you have 600 employees and can afford to pay them."

More from Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger: "Mesut Ozil is not completely ready yet to cope with the physicality of the game - that is why we have to be a bit careful with him.

"We made many chances against a team that defends very well. Overall we still lack a little bit in our decision making and in the final ball but that will come. It's a positive game."  

On the penalty appeals: "I have to watch it on slow motion, Petr Cech told me at half-time that the first was not a penalty, the other on Musa, I would have to watch it again."

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, speaking to BBC Sport: "I think overall it was a good performance, a good match between two good teams. It was a game of top level intensity and I believe we responded well to last week's disappointment. 

"Leicester are a good team - they did not win the league and only lose three games last season for nothing. We had to fight until the end. We could have lost or won it in the last 20 minutes. We wanted to win the game and we finished with five attacking players on the pitch."

"I am very happy. We didn't concede, we closed very well all the space and created clear chances to score. It was a draw but I think our fans enjoyed the match. Jamie Vardy scored against Manchester United, and he works so hard, I am happy with him." 

On the penalty appeals: "Difficult to say. My philosophy is it's a penalty when the referee blows his whistle and that's it."

On the injury suffered by Nampalys Mendys: "I don't know how bad. the ankle twists a little, tomorrow we will see."

"The penalty is when the referees whistle. I think it was a good match. They kept a lot of possession but we created clear chances. They were dangerous, but not clear chances. I am very proud of my players because they fight so well.

"I don't want to speak about the decisions. The manager makes mistakes, the referees make mistakes, the players make mistakes.

It was imporant to keep a clean sheet. 

On this week's Champions League draw: "We are new in the Champions League. It will be a very new experience."

"It's difficult for me to comment but once you get in the box you tend to appeal for any sort of decision. Today it wasn't our day."

"Each player did the job well defensively. Leicester played very well in the counter-attack. We came back with a point. 

"I think I toed the ball a little (when Danny Drinkwater fell in the box in the first half). I don’t think it was a penalty."

Arsenal defender Rob Holding speaking to BT Sport: "We wanted a clean sheet after conceding four goals last week. It was vital. Hopefully next week we can build on this, score some goals and win a game."

On the penalty appeal when Ahmed Musa went down: "I think he went down hoping for it. I think it was the right decision."  

Well not exactly a thriller. Boos from the home fans - presumably they think they could have had two penalties. I reckon both would have been soft.
