    Leicester 0-0 Arsenal

Ahh. Disappointing from Leicester again. Riyad Mahrez has space down the right to pick out a pass but it's loose and into no-man's land, allowing Arsenal to collect.

We've just not seen the best from the Premier League champions so far.

    Nor have Arsenal sparkled.

Oof! That's a decent hit from Hector Bellerin from way outside the box after Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain picked him out with a lovely dink.

The Spaniard's shot is straight at Kasper Schmeichel - but he had to pat it down to grab at the second attempt. Real power in it.

Free-kick Leicester just outside the edge of the box. Here we go.

Riyad Mahrez lines it up.. his effort fizzes over, central to the goal. Petr Cech was all over that.

We've hit a bit of a lull now though. The camera pans to Mesut Ozil picking a bit of fluff out of his eye - it's that exciting.

Come on now lads. You're better than this.

A hold-up in play as Mendy soldiers back up and onto the pitch before planting himself down again.

This time he definitely is replaced by fellow central midfielder Andy King. He can't go on.

Nampalys Mendy looks to have hurt himself here. His studs caught in the turf as he came back to earth in a slide tackle - something's jarred. His ankle?

This is his first Leicester start since his summer move from Nice. He's up now, but it looks like he's coming off - Andy King's getting ready.

Referee Mark Clattenburg has been speaking to Leicester City assistant manager Craig Shakespeare, Jamie Vardy and Danny Drinkwater before the start of the second half.

Fair to assume Leicester's penalty claim just before the break might have been a topic for discussion - every chat ended very amicably.

    Leicester 0-0 Arsenal

A brilliant sliding block from Francis Coquelin cuts out Marc Albrighton's slide-pass looking to play Jamie Vardy in behind.

He was travelling there the Frenchman, the turf is slick. Leicester starting the second half like they did the first. Front foot forward.

    No changes from either side.

Here we go then. We're heading out for the second half. More goals required.

  12. Changes?published at 18:25 British Summer Time 20 August 2016

    Leicester 0-0 Arsenal

If this was judged on points I'd have Arsenal in front - just. That Santi Cazorla free-kick is the only shot on target (and it was actually a cross).

The Gunners have had the ball around Leicester's penalty area more than the other way round, but nothing's been sticking.

Olivier Giroud from the bench? Mesut Ozil's also sitting comfortably...

Leicester could turn to Ahmed Musa or Demarai Gray to change things in attack.

While we all get our heads round that penalty appeal, let's have a closer look at Alexis Sanchez's game...

The Chile forward has been involved in plenty of Arsenal's play so far, getting most of his passing right - and in key positions. Green means successful passes, with red failed ones and yellow are key passes.

Boos from the home crowd as Mark Clattenburg leads the players off. A very tough one to call. I'm waiting to see it again.

    Who'd be a ref?

  15. YELLOW CARDpublished at 45 mins

    Leicester 0-0 Arsenal

Nampalys Mendy goes in the book now for a foul - and there's one minute added on.

  16. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 43 mins

    Leicester 0-0 Arsenal

Should Leicester have a penalty? Danny Drinkwater goes up in the air under a challenge after the ball pops loose - Jamie Vardy was played in behind but Petr Cech came out to block.

Looked like a combination of Cech and Koscielny who challenged Drinkwater - and Vardy could have done better with a second bite as the ball fell to him again.

Nothing doing from the ref though... we move on, Arsenal break but are repelled. Breathless stuff, right on the cusp of half-time.

Danny Simpson does well to keep the ball in play, feeds Jamie Vardy who has space to cross - but there's Laurent Koscielny to clear again with a strong header away.

Leicester look to be finishing this half the stronger but then Robert Huth clumsily shanks a simple pass out for a corner...

Just over five to go until the break then - one shot on target so far (which was actually a cross, but was dangerous).

    Will we get a goal?

Really excellent defending from Laurent Koscielny. A booming clearance suddenly has Riyad Mahrez behind enemy lines, it's bouncing and awkward to deal with, everything is in the Leicester forward's favour...

But Koscielny steals in, makes the ball is, has a trick to buy himself some time, and rolls the ball on to an Arsenal shirt. Textbook.
