    Watford 0-0 Chelsea

Nordin Amrabat puts a cross into the box and Watford striker Odion Ighalo, who was under a lot of pressure to be fair to him, fires it over from six yards out.

The Ighalo of 2015 would have scored that.

  2. Everton half-chancepublished at 15:24 British Summer Time 20 August 2016

    West Brom 1-0 Everton

Everton have their first shot on goal.

Neat build-up play ends with Gareth Barry side-footing a shot from 12 yards straight at Ben Foster.

It was actually a pretty simple save for the England keeper.

  3. Postpublished at 15:22 British Summer Time 20 August 2016

    Burnley 1-0 Liverpool

Burnley keeper Tom Heaton makes his first save but Adam Lallana's shot was so weak that a plastic bag floating across the goalline would have kept it out.

  4. 'Liverpool look sharp'published at 15:20 British Summer Time 20 August 2016

    Burnley 1-0 Liverpool

    Pat Nevin
Ex-Chelsea winger on BBC Radio 5 live

Liverpool are passing the ball really well now, sharp passing in the final third. Burnley instead are lumping it forward to the two strikers so they can reach the final third.

  5. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:20 British Summer Time 20 August 2016

    Watford 0-0 Chelsea

Watford captain Troy Deeney hacks Eden Hazard from behind as the Belgian was breaking from halfway and gets booked. He seems surprised at the decision, despite it being the most yellow-card yellow card ever.

Chelsea defender Gary Cahill is also booked for a foul on Etienne Capoue.

  6. CLOSE!published at 15:18 British Summer Time 20 August 2016

    Swansea 0-0 Hull

    Slightly spannered this one.

Norway striker Adama Diomande is played through on goal by Robert Snodgrass but connects badly with the ball and screws his shot wide from about 12 yards.

That was a great opportunity for the Humberside club.

  7. Postpublished at 15:17 British Summer Time 20 August 2016

    Watford 0-0 Chelsea

Chelsea piece together a passing move around the box but Oscar drags it well wide. Never even a chance of that going in.

  8. 'More space than anyone else'published at 15:17 British Summer Time 20 August 2016

    Burnley 1-0 Liverpool

    Pat Nevin
Ex-Chelsea winger on BBC Radio 5 live

Tactically very different from both sides here. One player on the park is getting more space than anyone else and unfortunately for Burnley fans it's Phillipe Coutinho. You can't give him time and space.

  9. Postpublished at 15:14 British Summer Time 20 August 2016

    Spurs 0-0 Crystal Palace

Spurs should be ahead in their London derby but Toby Alderweireld heads straight at Wayne Hennessey from a corner.

Keeper Steve Mandanda is not in Palace's matchday squad again, by the way.

  10. Postpublished at 15:12 British Summer Time 20 August 2016

    Burnley 1-0 Liverpool

Liverpool are being restricted to shots from distance at Turf Moor, Philippe Coutinho failing to hit the target with a couple of efforts.

  11. Postpublished at 15:11 British Summer Time 20 August 2016

    Watford 0-0 Chelsea

Chelsea forward Eden Hazard whips in a dangerous cross from the left which Jose Holebas does well to hoof over his own bar under pressure from Diego Costa.

  12. Postpublished at 15:09 British Summer Time 20 August 2016

    Spurs 0-0 Crystal Palace

A quiet start at White Hart Lane. Harry Kane is playing slightly withdrawn with Vincent Janssen - last season's top scorer in the Dutch league - as the main man up front.

  13. goal

GOAL - West Brom 1-0 Evertonpublished at 15:08 British Summer Time 20 August 2016

    Gareth McAuley (9 mins)

    It was coming.

By that we mean that Salomon Rondon had a shot brilliantly pushed out for a corner by Maarten Stekelenburg.

Unfortunately for Everton from the resulting Craig Gardner set-piece Gareth McAuley bullets his header in past the Dutch keeper.

The Baggies and their new Chinese owners are bouncing.

    Swansea 0-0 Hull

What a strike and what a save!

Swans striker Gylfi Sigurdsson puts a bit of swaz on his shot from 18 yards which is tipped on to the bar by Eldin Jakupovic.

    Close.

  15. Postpublished at 15:08 British Summer Time 20 August 2016

    Watford 0-0 Chelsea

Watford have the first shot of the game and it's Jose Holebas, who latches onto a ball over the Chelsea defence. He tries to beat Thibaut Courtois at his near post, but the Belgian keeper is too good to concede goals like that.

  16. Toffees test the Baggies defencepublished at 15:06 British Summer Time 20 August 2016

    West Brom 0-0 Everton

Early pressure from Everton at The Hawthorns.

Ross Barkley goes down under a challenge by Claudio Yacob - no penalty. Leighton Baines then delivers a dangerous ball into the area that misses all.

  17. 'You can question the defending'published at 15:04 British Summer Time 20 August 2016

    Burnley 1-0 Liverpool

    Pat Nevin

You can more than question the defence. [Jurgen Klopp] wants them to play it out of the back but they give it straight to Sam Vokes.

Sam Vokes gets his first ever Premier League goal and Burnley are ahead against Liverpool.

Nathaniel Clyne plays a dreadful ball at right-back which Andre Gray gets onto.

He finds Vokes, who turns on the edge of the area and smashes home.
