Everton manager Ronald Koeman: "It was not a difficult decision to keep the same team because I was happy with our performance against Tottenham and normally these players are in the starting line up.

"Romelu didn’t train for 10 days and has had only two sessions. Bolasie was closer than anyone to starting today but he is also on the bench.

"What you like to have is a strong bench and today we have a strong bench."

  3. Big Cup day for non-league clubspublished at 14:53 British Summer Time 20 August 2016

    FA Cup

We're still another nine months away from the FA Cup final but it's a big day in the competition for 320 non-league clubs.

Among those dreaming of going on a long run and landing a money-spinning tie against EFL opposition is Tadcaster Albion, who play in the Northern Premier League Division One North.

The Brewers suffered more than £300,000 damage during floods which ravaged the Yorkshire town last winter. Their squad also includes former Manchester United midfielder Jonathan Greening, who is playing for free.

  4. New Hornetspublished at 14:51 British Summer Time 20 August 2016

    Watford v Chelsea (15:00 BST)

In case you missed it, Watford were busy splashing the cash yesterday.

They completed the double signing of Juventus midfielder Roberto Pereyra and Sunderland's Younes Kaboul.

And the pair have just been paraded at Vicarage Road.

Kaboul, 30, has joined from Sunderland for an undisclosed fee on a three-year deal after asking for a move away from the north-east for personal reasons.

Pereyra, 25, becomes the Hornets' record signing on a five-year contract.

Watford's previous record transfer was the £12.5m they paid Granada for striker Isaac Success in July. The fee for Pereyra has not yet been revealed.

But neither player is in the match day squad today.

  5. 'The new owner will enjoy it today'published at 14:50 British Summer Time 20 August 2016

West Brom v Everton (15:00 BST)

West Brom head coach Tony Pulis on naming an unchanged side: "The lads played really well last week and they deserved the opportunity to play today.

"I think the new owner will enjoy it today. It will be the first time he’s watched the game live but we’re more concerned about playing well against an Everton side who look as if they’re going to keep the same system.

"It’s our first home game, but it’s going to be tough. If you look at Everton’s bench, it’s a top six bench."

'Summertime and the livin' is easy', sang Ella Fitzgerald, and that certainly rings true with Swansea.

They're unbeaten in their last eight Premier League fixtures in August and will be confident of making it two wins from two in their opening home game.

After the chaos of their pre-season, Hull now have history in their sights - the Tigers have never won their first two matches of a Premier League campaign.

I was struck by the unity of the squad - what's left of it - in the win over Leicester last week. That can mask the problems behind the scenes, but for how long?

Allan Abbas: Can he do it on a windy day at Stoke? Better ask Pep a better question next time and never doubt his ability.

West Brom and Everton have new owners, and both could be extremely busy in the days leading up to the closure of the transfer window.

One completed move is Yannick Bolasie, who made his final appearance for Crystal Palace as a substitute against the Baggies last weekend. If Bolasie make his Everton debut this Saturday against the same opponents he'll surely become the answer to a trivia question.

Ashley Williams could also make a first appearance for Everton, while West Brom will be hoping striker Romelu Lukaku doesn't score against his old club.

It could be a fascinating afternoon as West Brom look to build on their opening day victory while Ronald Koeman aims for his first win as Everton boss.

    Burnley v Liverpool (15:00 BST)

It was a case of same old story for Burnley on their return to the Premier League - effort and endeavour far outweighed creativity and sharpness in front of goal as Swansea nicked the points at Turf Moor.

At least the Clarets supporters have been given a clear indication that Sean Dyche is determined to put things right with the record signing of Belgian playmaker Steven Defour from Anderlecht.

It's an eye-catching deal but further reinforcements look to be needed before the transfer window shuts.

Liverpool lurched from scintillating to shambolic during their extraordinary opener at Arsenal.

Jurgen Klopp has strengthened an already potent attack but that porous defence may require some transfer window shopping as well.

One change for Chelsea as Pedro comes in for the injured Willian.

Manager Antonio Conte said: "He has a small problem with his calf so better not risked today. It's a little problem."

Cesc Fabregas remains on the bench.

Watford's newest signings Roberto Pereyra and Younes Kaboul do not make the match-day squad.

There is also no sign of Isaac Success or Brice Dja Djedje.

The Hornets are unchanged from the team that drew 1-1 with Southampton. Ben Watson is suspended after he was sent off 12 minutes after coming on as a substitute last week.

  19. 'Mazzarri and Conte have history'published at 14:40

    Watford v Chelsea (15:00 BST)

    Mark Scott
    MOTD commentator

When thoughts turned to the managerial duels this season that have a bit of added spice, this one might have slipped under the radar a little.

Walter Mazzarri and Antonio Conte fell out, external during their time coaching Napoli and Juventus respectively because, so the story goes, Conte felt Mazzarri had suggested he'd 'copied' Napoli's formation.

The Watford boss insisted his comments had been misunderstood, but formations remain a hot topic for both managers.

Watford seem to have adapted well to Mazzarri's preferred 3-5-2 line-up, putting in a solid showing at Southampton.

Conte's focus on overloading out wide against West Ham allowed Eden Hazard to deliver a performance much more in keeping with his fine form of two seasons ago.
