Luke: Why was Fellaini not sent off in the first half? We've seen today bookings for dissent, yet a United player gets away with it? Same old United

Paul lummis: Another example of why Fellaini simply isn't good enough, or smart enough, for a team such as Manchester United...

Jamie Brilley: Surely Moss should then send Fellani off for dissent under new directive. If he wasn't on a yellow ref would have booked him.

The Scotland goalkeeper was left out of the Bluebirds' squad for the match.

Marshall, 31, has made more than 280 appearances for Cardiff since arriving from Norwich City for free in 2009.

United's best chance of the half. Juan Mata fools Hull's defence with a clever drop of the shoulder and crosses for Wayne Rooney inside the six-yard box. The United captain swings his boot at the ball but Curtis Davies, who has been superb at the heart of the Hull defence, produces a brilliant goal-line block. The longer it goes the better it is for Hull. People are expecting United to go 2-0 or 3-0 up but they're not.

Hull have defended really well but just need to keep the ball a bit better to keep the pressure off. I think Mike Phelan will be really pleased at the moment.

Manchester United have got good possession but Hull are dealing well with it.

Hull are staying staying solid and disciplined and have not really been opened up yet.

Manchester United had one chance when Zlatan Ibrahimovic clipped the bar but apart from that Hull are looking solid, although going forward they haven't really created anything.

That was close, though, from Robert Snodgrass. That free-kick took the paint off the post.
