Simon Mignolet has been in the wars. Not content with a nose bleed, the Liverpool keeper has now got a cut above his right eye following an aerial challenge from Jamie Vardy.

Robert Huth, having already made Simon Mignolet wear tissue up his nose, is booked for a tussle with Nathaniel Clyne in the Liverpool area.

One for cumulative fouls that. I didn't see him do it, but I imagine referee Craig Pawson would have pointed theatrically at different parts of the pitch to illustrate that.

Generally Liverpool have been impressive, although they make their lives difficult for themselves at times.

Leicester haven't had that spark. People will talk about N'Golo Kante, but it's early in the season.

Jordan Henderson should have signed off on this one.

Roberto Firmino puts Adam Lallana to the left byline and he cuts back to Henderson, 12 yards out, but he splurges it over.

Ahmed Musa drops a cross in from the left side and Jamie Vardy meets it well, using his head to direct the ball at a satisfying angle, but it ends up straight at Simon Mignolet.

Liverpool's first substitution sees Kevin Stewart come on for Daniel Sturridge.

This ain't over. Riyad Mahrez's corner drifts all the way to the far corner of the area and Danny Drinkwater meets it first time with a shot that deflects wide.

The next corner s played short and comes in - Daniel Amartey nudges wide.

Liverpool deal with a long throw from Leicester but Luis Hernandez gets in a cross from deep. Robert Huth meets it - it seems to hit his back - and it trickles just wude.

Leicester need to up the ante a little bit and go for broke, there's no point just seeing it out now.

Leonardo Ulloa straight into the action as he gets to the by-line and cuts back but fails to find a team-mate.

At the other end, Roberto Firmino slips in Georginio Wijnaldum, but Kasper Schmeichel is out quickly to save - the linesman says it was offside, although that looks the wrong decision.
