    Liverpool 1-0 Leicester City

It’s difficult to play against this Liverpool outfit when they’re on song, because they do stretch the pitch and they’ve got lots of options in central positions.

Leicester aren’t quite adapting yet, Clyne in particular is getting a lot of space.

Georginio Wijnaldum the latest to line one up from the edge of the area for Liverpool - he goes for a higher, curled effort, but Kasper Schmeichel is right underneath it.

Just as I say that, there's a minor scare for Liverpool.

The Reds half clear a Riyad Mahrez corner, but Christian Fuchs nods it back in and Shinji Okazaki gets a toe to it to prod past the post - he was offside anyway.

Liverpool look cool and calm now.

Daniel Sturridge works a one-two to get a shot away on the edge of the area - easy for Kasper Schmeichel though.

Roberto Firmino has had a hand in 18 goals in his 35 PL games (11 goals, 7 assists).

Only player who can match that (in period since Firmino's Premier League debut) is Milner, who assisted him today.

With he new Main Stand at Anfield comes a new, higher camera angle.

It has a feel of a Pro Evolution video game camera angle - and that goal very much had a video game feel to it.

Out of the blue, a piece of quality play from James Milner.

You could see the gap opening, Morgan was pulled out of position. Firmino could see the space, a little shimmy past Robert Huth, then he just clipped a simple finish past Kasper Schmeichel.

Pretty much out of nowhere Liverpool have ripped open Leicester’s defence.

    Roberto Firmino

Oddly, oddly easy this for Liverpool.

Lucas is given time to play it out from the back and spins a ball to the feet of James Milner on the left touchline.

Milner then moves it inside to Roberto Firmino on the edge of the area and he turns Robert Huth before placing the ball past Kasper Scmeichel.

It's almost like Leicester were training cones to be played around.

Jordan Henderson pulling the strings nicely now as he finds Nathaniel Clyne down the right, but Adam Lallana can't find space when he takes the next pass.

Roberto Firmino has space on the edge of the area and drives a low shot straight at Kasper Schmeichel.

    Liverpool finally come alive.

Jordan Henderson dinks a lovely ball out left to Roberto Firmino, who plays it across the edge of the area - Daniel Sturridge dummies to leave it for Adam Lallana who then almost slips Sturridge in. Wes Morgan does well to win the ball.

    Liverpool 0-0 Leicester City

    Matt Elliott

This Liverpool team, talented as it is, they aren’t always tuned in.

They aren’t always capable of playing defensively.

    Liverpool 0-0 Leicester City

Riyad Mahrez and Danny Simpson link up rather nicely down the right and the latter slaps a nice ball into the box, which Jordan Henderson gets clear.

    Bright from Leicester.

Lucas gets touch early on, helping the ball back to Liverpool keeper Simon Mignolet.

The Brazilian has played at centre-half a few times before of course, but you'd expect Jamie Vardy is licking his lips.

James Milner gets under a long ball from Leicester but clears is straight to Shinji Okazaki who shoots over from 25 yards.

    Matt Elliott

Leicester could take this game, though they should expect to weather a storm, especially early on.

But the Foxes have come here with the confidence of being Premier League champions. If they are focused and on it they are more than capable of turning over this Liverpool team.
