Liverpool will hope it's the perfect opening to their extended home. , external
There's no doubt rapid progress has been made off the pitch in the building of their brand new Main Stand; they'll be determined to try and mirror that on the pitch as they finally get the chance to play at Anfield and produce the level of performance we witnessed at Arsenal and Spurs rather than the frustrations of Burnley.
I watched Leicester lose this fixture last Christmas when most expected the bubble to burst - they lost only one further game, and they've made a habit of spoiling dream scripts in the last 12 months.

We asked supporters of Premier League and Scottish Premiership clubs to use BBC Sport's team selector to tell us whether they were satisfied with their squad, via a simple tick or cross for each position.
Only 7% of Liverpool fans felt the squad was adequate at left-back - more than four times lower than any other position at any other club.
Some 32% of Leicester fans felt another central midfielder was required and 40% were less than impressed with the options at right-back.

It should be an open game later on. Leicester are steadying the ship after a turbulent start.
Claudio Ranieri has done a really good job in figuring out what is going to work for him this season but I think Liverpool can finish in the top four this season.
Liverpool should have beaten Spurs and with the squad they have got they should kick on. To do that you have to win games like this.
Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri says that Liverpool are one of the Premier League title favourites.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has been gushing about the new stand - watch him discuss it here.
It takes the capacity of Anfield up to 54,000, 8,500 more than previously - so today will be a Premier League record attendance at Anfield.

A list of Liverpool legends have been out on the pitch to signal the opening of the new Main Stand.
Ian Rush, Phil Neal, Robbie Fowler, Ian St John, Kenny Dalglish, Gary McAllister...
Phil Babb is there too.
(Sorry, bit harsh on Phil that).

Ryan Lloyd: Not thrilled with Lucas at CB, but if memory serves me right, he did a job against Arsenal and United there last year...
Kartik Venkat: Lucas has actually done well when he's been required at CB. Doubts over Milner at LB though. Utter waste of his talents.
Nick Hughes: No point criticising Klopp & #LFC defence until they play. Lucas has done well at the back when asked, Milner likewise

Good question.
All the buzz this week was that Leicester City's record £29.8m signing Islam Slimani could make his Foxes debut today.
The buzz has buzzed off though - he's not in the squad.
Although that shouldn't be surprising, considering he wasn't expected to land in the country and meet his team-mates until yesterday.
"He joined the group last night, today was too soon for him. He will be involved in our next game in midweek," said Claudio Ranieri.

We've just seen Dejan Lovren peeping out of the tunnel, twiddling with his phone.
Jurgen Klopp said the defender had a bruised eye - and my word he was right. It's an absolute shiner. His right eye is completely closed up.
Wouldn't look out of place in the Kell Brook v Gennady Golovkin fight tonight.

Johnny Magrinho: Utterly bemused with Klopp - apparently knows nothing about defence. That back four is a complete shambles. Another goalfest..
Oh, from a neutral's point of view, I hope you're right, Johnny.

Liverpool are one of only two sides who beat Leicester last season. But the Reds need to kick on because, after that opening day win over Arsenal, their season hasn't really got going.
The game tonight could suit Leicester, because Liverpool do press. Although I think top six is the best the Foxes can hope for this season.

It probably won't escape your attention that half of the Liverpool back four are midfielders, with James Milner still preferred at left-back to actual left-back Alberto Moreno.
The pace of Lucas against Jamie Vardy will be, erm, interesting.

Of course, one option instead of playing midfielder Lucas at centre-half is to use Mamadou Sakho.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp says he has no problem with Sakho but the defender has to regain fitness to stand a chance of a first-team return.
France international Sakho, 26, had a doping case against him dismissed by Uefa in July.
He was then sent home from the club's pre-season tour in the United States after being late three times and also told he could leave the club on loan.
"It is not a problem. He doesn't have to gain my trust," said Klopp.
Liverpool v Leicester (17:30 BST)
The big news for Liverpool is that centre-half Dejan Lovren has a knock to the head, which means Lucas will be playing in the middle of defence.
Daniel Sturridge makes his second start of the season up front and new keeper Lorius Karius is on the bench after a hand injury.
Philippe Coutinho drops to the bench.
Subs: Karius, Klavan, Moreno, Stewart, Grujic, Coutinho, Origi
No changes for Leicester from the 2-1 win over Swansea a couple of weeks back.
The most notable omission from their line-up is new record signing Islam Slimani, who isn't even on the bench.
Subs: Hernandez, Chilwell, Musa, King, Zieler, Gray, Ulloa
More on that in a tick, but let's get straight to your team news.
Liverpool v Leicester (17:30 BST)
It's a new stand fit for champions.
And that's exactly what it will see today as Leicester City come to town.
It's hoped that the smart, new Main Stand at Anfield can act as a catalyst for a bright future.
Will it see a championship-winning side on a more regular basis in the years to come?
Only Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp can answer that question.
