  1. 'I'm much more recognised'published at 15:29 British Summer Time 7 August 2016

Wes Morgan says he has become a lot more recognised in the street since winning the Premier League title with Leicester City.

"I can’t go anywhere without someone recognising me. It is to be expected when you lift a trophy in front of the whole world," the Foxes skipper told BBC Radio 5 live's Sportsweek.

"I am quite laid back. When it is time to shout and scream I will. But off the field, I am the bridge between the players and staff."

  2. 'Ready for the onslaught'published at 15:28 British Summer Time 7 August 2016

Leicester City's spirit is as strong as ever despite the loss of N'Golo Kante, says Foxes skipper Wes Morgan.

Kante, an influential figure as Leicester won the Premier League title last season, has joined Chelsea, but Morgan told BBC Radio 5 live's Sportsweek: "We have got each others’ backs. As a squad we want to stick together.

"We have lost Kante but the nucleus is the same and we have the same spirit. We want to show it is not a fluke. We have to be ready for the onslaught."

Leicester's players are never going to get sick of being introduced to the crowd the way the Wembley tannoy announcer just welcomed them on to the pitch. The Foxes fans cheered them on with a chant of 'campioni'.

United's keepers are also out on the pitch but no sign of Zlatan & Co just yet.

Nathan Burn: Bartosz Kapustka will be a great addition to Leicester in the coming seasons. And not an overpriced sum for him either

Stacie McAlpine: Kante to Blues until Pogba goes to Man U!

  5. Spoiler alertpublished at 15:24 British Summer Time 7 August 2016

There's no need to actually follow this game at all, because Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has already told us all the winner.

"I'm used to winning trophies, I didn't come here to waste time," the Swedish striker told Manchester United TV.

"That is the first trophy we will bring home. For me, every trophy is very serious. I have collected 30 trophies and I want to collect more of them. I'm not satisfied until I collect everything.

"I didn't come here to lose time. I came here to win. I believe the philosophy is the same for the club, especially a club like this. They are made to win."

Leicester City XI: Schmeichel, Simpson, Morgan, Huth, Fuchs, Mahrez, King, Drinkwater, Albrighton, Okazaki, Vardy.

Manchester United start with two of their three summer signings - defender Eric Bailly and striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan is on the bench.

  7. Zlatan to win United the title? Don't put your shirt on itpublished at 15:20 British Summer Time 7 August 2016

No doubt about which of United's summer signings has his name on most fans' shirts today - and yes, Zlatan would approve. I counted more than 20 Ibrahimovics, zero Baillys or Mkhitaryans... and no Pogbas either - although you would have to be brave to go with that at this stage.

Ben from Burton (pictured above) thinks Zlatan will make a big difference to United's attack, saying "he has to really, because we didn't have a striker last season" but does not think he will win United the league. "For that to happen, we have to get Pogba."

As for the Leicester fans, there is a smattering of Musas but the most popular choice by far is 'Champions 16'. You can't really blame them for that, can you?

  8. 'My house is very clean'published at 15:15 British Summer Time 7 August 2016

Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri is confident his Premier League champions won’t do a Chelsea this season.

The London side won the title in 2014-15, but were 16th when Jose Mourinho was sacked in December. They finished 10th.

"When I build something it is never destroyed,” said Ranieri, incidentally a former Chelsea boss. “My philosophy is to watch your house, not other houses.

“It's important what happens here. My house is very clean and very clear.

"Slowly we try to build the first floor and the second floor. The foundation is very solid. I don't know what happened [to Chelsea]. They were the champions.

"I spoke with my players and I said, 'I know you very well now and I want more. Forget what we achieved, I want more. You cannot tell me this is your maximum, I want more than the maximum from last season'."

  9. 'It would be easier to have 20 new players'published at 15:13 British Summer Time 7 August 2016

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho says it could take a while for the Red Devils to play his kind of football.

In fact he makes it sound like he's deprogramming people who have left a cult.

"My teams are different to Mr Van Gaal, and it is a difficult situation to change the dynamics.

"It would be easier for me to have 20 new players and start from zero. For two years, they had some principles of play that are not mine.

"After two years of work, there are things in their brain that are automatic, and that is difficult to change. But we are working hard and the players are trying everything."

It is a beautiful summer's afternoon at Wembley and both sets of fans are enjoying the weather. Leicester's fans definitely got here earlier - Wembley Way was blue when I walked down it.

All you could hear were chants of 'champions of England, we know what we are' - but that is probably because United supporters are far more used to trips to this part of north London to watch their team.

Most of their fans who were on my overcrowded train from Manchester this morning were planning a few stop-offs at pubs in the capital on their way here.

One player we already knew wouldn't be playing today is Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger, who is training with the reserves after falling out of favour.

A member of the world players' union thinks Jose Mourinho should be jailed for "bullying" the 32-year-old former World Cup winner.

Meanwhile, Bayer Leverkusen director of sport Rudi Voller thinks the former Germany midfielder "will play on at the highest level for at least another two years".

Despite the constant announcements over the tannoy instructing people not to stop at the top of the steps, selfies of Wembley's famous arch from the steps of Wembley Park tube station are obligatory, especially if your team has never played under it before.

Last time Leicester were in these parts, at the 2000 League Cup final, the famous Twin Towers that were the entrance to the old Wembley would have been in most people's selfies - if selfies existed then. Now, there is only one shot people want...

Then they use the hashtag #pogback. Let's just shut down football now. It's done.

  16. Pre-season so farpublished at 14:59 British Summer Time 7 August 2016

Manchester United have won two, drawn one and lost one of their four pre-season friendlies.

They beat Wigan 2-0 away, followed by a 4-1 defeat by Borussia Dortmund in China, a 5-2 win over Galatasaray in Sweden and a 0-0 draw with Everton in Wayne Rooney's testimonial.

Leicester's only pre-season win came at Oxford United, coming from behind to win 2-1. They have drawn 1-1 at Celtic, lost 4-0 to Paris St-Germain in the United States and then lost 4-2 to Barcelona in Sweden.

Thousands of very lucky Manchester United fans are going to get to their seats at Wembley on one of the hottest days of the year... and find a scarf draped over it. Can't see too many of them being worn, although they might be waved in fairness.

Leicester fans will feel right at home, though, because their free gift is a cardboard clapper - very similar to the ones that create such a din at the King Power Stadium.

There are flags and glittery things for both sets of supporters to wave too, and the Leicester end spells out 'Champions 2015-16' which is a nice touch. No room for 'FA Cup winners' in the United section though.

  19. Leicester's summer so farpublished at 14:50

So what's new at Leicester this summer?

Well star midfielder N'Golo Kante left for Chelsea for £30m, but they have kept Jamie Vardy (on a new contract) and Riyad Mahrez (so far).

Goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel also signed a five-year contract yesterday.

In come £16m speed merchant Ahmed Musa, who impressed in a friendly with Barcelona, and Kante's replacement Nampalys Mendy.

Also new are teenage Poland winger Bartosz Kapustka, German keeper Ron-Robert Zieler, defender Luis Hernandez and young striker Raul Uche Rubio.

  20. Man Utd's summer so farpublished at 14:45

Manchester United have had a lot of upheaval this summer. Louis van Gaal was given the boot and replaced by Jose Mourinho.

And they have made some impressive signings.

In comes one of Europe's top attacking midfielders, Henrikh Mkhitaryan from Borussia Dortmund, and one of the most famous players in the world - Swedish maverick striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

And the most expensive signing of them all was £30m Villarreal defender Eric Bailly.

Apparently they might be bringing in someone else too.
