Slightly less pretty on the pitch from the visitors with a couple of hefty challenges on Jonny Evans and Conor McLaughlin who might have had a couple of fillings loosened.

Germany are 3-0 up against Norway, PSG reserve Julian Draxler, Arsenal's Mesut Ozil and RB Leipzig's Timo Werner on the scoresheet. What that would mean - for the more ambitious Northern Ireland fans - is that NI cannot win the group if they only draw this game.

Weiss and Mak are coming in from the left and right meaning it is five against three in the middle in Slovakia's favour. They are getting outnumbered.

Slovakia's midfield are running the show. Jordan Henderson is lucky not to be booked for a cynical check in the centre circle.

England do break away though, it's three on three but Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain goes for goal!

Way over the top. A really poor decision.

England are settling down. There was a good combination down the right and Alli did well to pull down the cross but the shot was deflected wide.

In the last five minutes England have upped the tempo. They are playing with more speed.

That's better, Jordan Henderson finds Marcus Rashford on the right, he picks out Dele Alli on the edge of the area and his shot is deflected behind for a corner. England haven't found a way to get the best out of Dele Alli tonight, or during his England career to be honest, yet.

Almost brilliant by Stuart Dallas down the left as he wins a personal battle with Theodor Gebre Selassie - but his cross is held by Czech keeper Tomas Vaclik.

Marcus Rashford is dispossessed easily again before Harry Kane has his first effort of the night, deflected wide for a corner. It all came from a long clearance downfield.

Rashford's corner causes real panic, Kane almost gets a shot away before Martin Skrtel clears.

Corner to the visitors, Northern Ireland get the ball and have a chance to break but Chris Brunt takes too long to play the 50-yard ball over the top, and when he does he gets it wrong.

It's almost 50-50 on possession (51.6% to Northern Ireland).

Joe Hart is coming in for some stick from you lot...

Moon Quddus: Big mistake by Rashford, but Hart didn't even attempt to save. Might as well stand still and watch the game

Thomashollern: Rashford showed his international inexperience there but I never ever fancy Hart with a 1 on 1 situation. Slovakia up for it.

James Stevenson: What was that #England? Terrible all round. But the ball went straight under Joe Hart's arm. Hardly shows him in a good light.

England have had 23% possession so far. Being taught a lesson so far.

Conor McLaughlin is back on the pitch now after getting some treatment on the sideline. He's a bit lucky really not to be more badly injured as I initially had worried he was out cold.

Conor McLaughlin is down injured, he runs into Jan Boril at pace and crumples to the turf. I think it's a head injury but he's moving so I hope it's not too serious. Josh Magennis came flying over to Boril looking furious and shoving the Czech, but I really don't think it was intentional.

It's fashionable to criticise Joe Hart at the moment but I'm not too sure he could have done much about that goal. It was a shot from six yards out from Stanislav Lobotka.

Great football! Slovakia dance their way down the right with Vladimir Weiss skipping away from Ryan Bertrand far too easily.

England are in trouble.
