    That's it then for a pretty dramatic night of EFL Cup action. Gillingham and Northampton produced the biggest shocks, sending Premier League Watford and West Brom out at the first hurdle.

    Callum Harriott had the chance to put Reading through, but missed. George Williams then scored for MK Dons to leave Jordan Obita needing to score to send Reading though, and he put it away no problem. 

    It is Reading who are the final team tonight to seal their place in the third round.
