If either team nicks it, in the showers later they'll be laughing their socks off that they managed to take the three points.

Sometimes, the football here is a comedy of errors.

Left-back Shane Ferguson has to go off with an injury problem and within a minute or two replacement Lee Hodson has a problem of his own.

He's hoping to run this one off...

Thomas Muller has scored his second goal of the night - the seventh time he has scored twice in a game for Germany - and they lead Norway 3-0.

Romania are drawing 0-0 with Montenegro in the night's other game.

That is the worst miss I've seen for a long, long time. Novak is standing right there, on the edge of the six-yard box... and he misses it! 

The keeper closed him down very quickly and forced him to hit it perhaps quicker than he wanted to, but he should have buried it.

How has he missed that?!

Wow. A set-piece causes chaos, nodded back in and Gareth McAuley can't reach the bouncing ball. Filip Novak has time to let the ball come to him, all alone five yards out. He slams it wide!

Josh Magennis' first touch is a dream as he slides in Stuart Dallas with a great ball but he runs a bit wide. Dallas then jags back on to his right foot and bends in a cracker, Magennis is inches away from meeting it and Jamie Ward also just misses it.

Kyle Lafferty looks a long way from match fit and he is replaced with just over half an hour to go. On comes Josh Magennis. 

A shaky start to the second half is made a lot brighter for Scotland as new Fulham signing Chris Martin buries a left-wing cross.

The home side have started the second period strongly and look the more likely as they craft the best move of the game. The ball comes down the left, a lovely weighted cutback cuts out the whole NI defence but Vaclav Kadlec can only sidefoot a shot straight at Michael McGovern.

Milan Baros, Jan Koller, Pavel Nedved, Patrik Berger or Karel Poborsky would have all buried that...

Before the game we said a point for Northern Ireland would be good, but the Czech Republic have been very poor. 

Win here and that puts pressure on the Czechs for the remainder of this group.

A great chance for the hosts straight from kick-off! NI are caught short at the back, the ball comes across goal and the sliding Vaclav Kadlec is so close to meeting it.

Moments later Michael McGovern flaps a cross. Shaky start to the second half.
