They may be the home team, but Arsenal will have to wear their away kit tonight. That's because Uefa has deemed Basel's home (below left) and away (middle) kits to be too similar to Arsenal's strip.

    Wenger for England?

Andy White: I admire Wenger greatly but let's be honest he hasn't won a great deal in the last 10 years but then England have won nothing.

Arsenal are in good form at the moment, with their 3-0 win against Chelsea extending their unbeaten run to seven games, but they'll have to be wary of Basel.

The Swiss side have claimed some pretty big English scalps in the past, having beaten Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United in recent years. In fact, they have lost just once in 10 encounters with English opposition in the Champions League.

Their record on English soil isn't too great, though. They picked up their first win in England at the 11th attempt when beating Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in 2013-14.

Celtic v Man City (19:45 BST)

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola: The atmosphere will be good. We are not playing to see how many games in a row we can win. Of course it is important for confidence but the target is to try and do our best and then when we do lose a game it will be about how we react to that.

I've got some cheese in the fridge that lasted longer than Sam Allardyce's 67-day reign as England boss.

We've also done a video of other things that lasted longer. Watch it below.

  6. Celtic 'to be more aggressive'published at 19:19 British Summer Time 28 September 2016

Celtic v Man City (19:45 BST)

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers: "Pep's done brilliant since he's gone in there. We know it's a huge challenge for us, but we won't be as passive as we were in Barcelona and hopefully we will be much more aggressive."

Clearly, Barcelona are one of the best teams on the planet and they were firing on all cylinders that night. It's bordering on cheating to be able to bring on Iniesta, like they did that night. This is a much better gauge. If they lose six or seven at home tonight, you can start calling it shambolic.

It's not been an easy start to the Champions League for Celtic. They were thumped 7-0 by Barcelona in their group opener but they should prove tougher to beat on home soil, considering they have lost just three times in 24 group games at Celtic Park.

However, they face a Manchester City side that has won every game so far this season, as well as a striker in fine form.

Sergio Aguero is all too familiar to former Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers, having scored twice and set up another goal on his City debut against Swansea, who Rodgers was in charge of at the time.

"I have come across Aguero many times," said Rodgers. "He is a big talent, one of the leading strikers in the world but as a team they are operating at a really high level. They are world-class players working really hard."

If you're under 50, it could ruin your career. It's like being the Prime Minister - most walk out smiling because they are glad it's over. Expectation is currently low, but that changes quickly.

  10. 'Wenger will probably sign a new contract'published at 19:14 British Summer Time 28 September 2016

Daily Mirror's John Cross: I don't think there's been a greater chance of him leaving next summer. However, I think most Arsenal fans accept he will probably sign a new contract.

  11. 'Wenger has to be first choice'published at 19:11 British Summer Time 28 September 2016

Martin Glenn said last night that the criteria hasn't changed. If that's the case, then Wenger still has to be the FA's first choice.

  12. Will Wenger want the England job?published at 19:11 British Summer Time 28 September 2016

    BBC Radio 5 live

John Cross of the Daily Mirror: "Why on earth would he want it? I do think if the times are right - and Wenger is complicated - if everything was aligned, I think he'd be interested. This summer just gone wasn't the time, because he wouldn't leave Arsenal. If the job was then available, Southgate holding the fort and then Wenger leaves Arsenal next summer, then it might appeal. Do I think the stars will align? No."

I've been coming to Celtic for European nights since 1969. The noise might be louder now than it was then. These fans will be up for it and will try to give Celtic every help they can - they will need it.

The only stories of corruption I've ever heard involved lower league managers. Not bungs or backhanders, but daft fines. It's mostly bravado.

There are only two things that can stop a manager - greed and stupidity. It's not hard to make sure some money gets paid into a different bank account. Whoever is investigating it, good luck to them.

  17. 'So much scope for corruption'published at 19:05 British Summer Time 28 September 2016

    BBC Radio 5 live

John Cross of the Daily Mirror: "I thought today's reports were disappointing and I'm not just saying that because I work for a different newspaper - yesterday's was phenomenal. There are so many avenues for backhanders, underhand payments, for payments to be through the back door. I've heard so many stories from agents. Surely it can't be right, but when it gets reported to the FA it isn't always acted upon. There's so much scope for football to be corrupt."

These stories [of corruption in football] have been investigated by the media, but you need hard evidence. These allegations are troubling and potentially damaging for the English game. The FA will look at the Telegraph's material and then try to take further action. But, if the evidence is so strong, why haven't they printed any names? Today they mentioned eight managers, but with no names.

  19. 'Very sad for Sam'published at 19:02 British Summer Time 28 September 2016

Former England manager Steve McClaren: It's been a hugely disappointing couple of days for English football and very sad for Sam Allardyce. It could have happened to any of us and he's paid the price. It just shows you the level elite sport is at - privacy can only be found in your own home.

  20. Allardyce 'might have saved his future'published at 19:01 British Summer Time 28 September 2016

Sam could have fought it. The fact that he walked away means he might well have saved his future.
