Chelsea have been well worth it. Conte will have always wanted to try the three at the back and this was his perfect chance to try it.
They have not really been tested but Chelsea have grown into it and controlled the game.

Jason Roberts
Former West Brom striker on Final Score
Chelsea have had so much of the ball and so much dominance. Hull look really tired. There's more goals here for Chelsea if they want them.
If they want to challenge they need to win these games more convincingly.

Chelsea are toying with Hull now. They're at 10mph and then all of a sudden 90mph.
Hull 0-2 Chelsea
An exquisite backheel from Diego Costa into the path of Willian, but a stretching Curtis Davies manages to get a toe to the ball.
He slices down Willian on the follow-through though and that could well be a penalty.
Anthony Taylor says no.
Hull 0-2 Chelsea
This could get ugly for Hull.
They are less compact as they come out and try and chase the game and Chelsea are reveling in the space.
Marcos Alonso - a little underwhelming so far - should do better when Diego Costa rolls the ball into his path in the box. The former Bolton man's touch is heavy though and the chance is gone.

Abel Hernández is introduced into the action in place of Markus Henriksen.
His odds are slim, fast receding to none, though.

Absolutely fantastic goal. It opened up for Costa and it was magnificent.
You couldn't have placed it any better.
Hull 0-2 Chelsea
It must have been a paint-peeler of a team talk from Antonio Conte.
His side have been rejuvenated since half-time.
Diego Costa
Diego Costa's first-time finish is an almost carbon copy of Willian's for Chelsea's first goal - sweeping a curling shot past a helpless David Marshall and into the top corner from just inside the area.
It was Nemanja Matic who set up the chance with a bullocking run from deep and a shot that deflected into Costa's path off Curtis Davies.
