That is how Chelsea win games, individual ability at any moment.
If any side was going to score it was going to be Chelsea. This should open the game up.
Willian
Willian with a sublime finish as he checks back on to his left foot and curls a 18-yarder past a wrong-footed David Marshall to break the deadlock.
The dirty work had been done a few moments earlier, though, and Diego Costa was the coal-carrier-in-chief, block-tackling his way through Curtis Davies to give Chelsea a three-on-three opportunity.

It was a fantastic run from Costa and the shot looked like it was going in.
It came back off the post to Kante, seven or eight yards out. He can't miss... he did.
Hull 0-0 Chelsea
Chelsea should be ahead.
Diego Costa darts on to a through ball, skips around the advancing David Marshall and shoots back towards the unguarded goal.
The ball bounces off the post, but N'Golo Kante will surely bury the rebound...
Nope. He blazes clear over the top and high into the stands from eight yards.
Hull 0-0 Chelsea
N'Golo Kante at his bustling 2015-16 best. The Chelsea anchorman robs Ryan Mason, motors forward, looks like he might get a nosebleed as he hits the edge of the Hull box and attempts an extravagant scooped through ball to Diego Costa.
Over-hit.
Hull 0-0 Chelsea
There are groans from the travelling Chelsea fans as Cesar Azpilicueta, under no pressure and inside the Hull half, opts to pass all the way back to goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.
No need for that. The Blues are building some pressure.

Leo The Prodigy: Chelsea need creativity a.k.a Fabregas on the pitch . Second half - FabTime?
Irfan: @HullCity's league standing is far below the level of their performances this season. Deserve a decent 9-10 spot
Tom Wilkinson: Chelsea are done as a top level club, very average. Wouldn't be surprised if Abramovich walked away

David Meyler has picked up a knock, but he shares a smile as he heads to the sideline to get a squeeze of the magic sponge.
I think he'll be back.

Great move by Chelsea. Hazard is capable of anything.
He beat one, beat two then a great shot and great save.

Chelsea are very slow and very laboured. There's nothing dynamic to their play. They really need Diego Costa to come to the party and show more in the final third of the pitch. Conte must have known Hull would set up like this.
Hull 0-0 Chelsea
David Marshall's first save of the day and it has to be a good one.
Eden Hazard - all staccato feet and darting pace - turns inside Andrew Robertson and snaps a stinging shot from 20 yards which Marshall leaps across to tip over.
Hull 0-0 Chelsea
Robert Snodgrass attacks the Chelsea box and it takes both Marcos Alonso and Gary Cahill to snuff out the danger at the expense of a corner.

Back off and running.
Hull 0-0 Chelsea
Chelsea have yet to register a shot on target.
Their brightest attacking outlet so far has been Victor Moses for me.
These were his touches in the first half.
And he has been generating much of Chelsea's attacking heat down the right.

Chelsea have had a lot of the ball but Hull have been organised. Every time they can't break them down with four men at the back, five in midfield.

Chelsea need to show more inventiveness for me. They know they were going to get that kind of display from Hull.
