Can that Nacer Chadli give Albion a much-needed shot in the arm? Despite Liverpool's dominance they haven't put this to bed yet. As I once heard a respected Football League manager say - "2-0 is the most dangerous scoreline in football..."

"We've had a shot" is the chant coming from the Albion supporters here at Anfield...

Albion's best chance of the game. Perhaps their only chance. The corner is half-cleared by the head of Roberto Firmino, landing at in-form Nacer Chadli's feet. He digs out a right foot shot from 15 yards, but fires over the Liverpool bar.

Huge cheers from the away end. Have Albion scored? Nope, they have a corner. They're being ironic. But could they be cheering a goal in a moment or two?

Another half chance for Liverpool, but James Milner misses the target as he lets fly from distance.

Should have been three! What a block by Albion defender Jonas Olsson. Liverpool have two-on-two as James Milner pings a first-time, 50-yard ball to the feet of Philippe Coutinho. Coutinho flies forward, then waits, waits, waits, before pulling back to Emre Can who arrives on the scene. He shoots, he thinks he's scored, but Olsson throws himself in front of the ball.

Back to normal business. Liverpool charge forward again, the move ending with Emre Can lashing over the bar from 25 yards.

Hang on, signs of life by Albion. They try to pour forward on the counter, but Salomon Rondon pass left to Nacer Chadli is weighted wrongly, forcing the Belgian to take an extra touch. He's crowded out by a swarm of Red shirts and the home side clear.

Past the hour mark and I'm not sure we've seen anything to suggest Albion can gain a foothold in this game. In fact I know we haven't. Wave after wave of Liverpool attacks... 

Another super save! Ben Foster didn't make a save in the first half - now he has made two important ones. The Albion keeper plucks Dejan Lovren's goal-bound header out of his top corner after the Croatian rose highest to meet Philippe Coutinho's free-kick.

Great save! Roberto Firmino has the freedom of the Albion penalty box as he is picked out in a central position. But Ben Foster rushes out Schmeichel-esque (Peter not Kasper) to block.

Roberto Firmino has his dancing shoes on, shimmying those hips as he looks to turn Gareth McAuley on the left. McAuley resorts to shoving him over. James Milner wastes the free-kick though and Albion survive.

The next goal is crucial. If Albion take it to 2-1, then it plants that seed of doubt into Liverpool's minds. 

Liverpool get it? It's damage limitation.  

The Baggies always pose a threat from set-pieces, so it is no surprise to see all nine outfield players going up as Ben Foster pumps a free-kick from the halfway line into the Liverpool box. But the home defence are organised and clear easily.

Here's that second Baggies change. On comes James Morrison, off trudges Matty Phillips. Looks like a bit more steel in the middle of the park.

Liverpool's forward players are nippy aren't they. They make those little diagonal runs, they are creative and if you don't go with them you are in big trouble.

Another minute, another Liverpool attack. Makeshift left-back James Milner sprays a 5-yard Hollywood ball across to Nathaniel Clyne, who guides a square ball across the penalty box. But Chris Brunt is back there to hack clear.

Looks like Albion are preparing another change. What the point of waiting less than five minutes after the break is I'm not really sure. James Morrison is taking off his tracky.
