    Liverpool 2-0 West Brom

An early sighter for Liverpool. Sadio Mane surges forward on the right, sliding a low diagonal pass forward to Philippe Coutinho. The Brazilian, in a similar position to his goal, looks to shoot quickly but hits an Albion body.

Interestingly it looks like a straight swap between Claudio Yacob and Chris Brunt. No change of shape immediately.

One change for Albion. And it's Claudio Yacob who is hooked. It could have been any of the other 10 men. On comes Chris Brunt.

Imagine the rollicking that Tony Pulis is dishing out now in the away dressing room. I'd be hiding in the loo. Changes imminent for the Baggies...

Total domination. Liverpool have controlled possession and territory, taking their chances when they have arrived.

The Reds have attempted eight shots (compared to Albion's none), converting both of their shots on target.

Tim in Marlow: Although Sadio Mane had the final touch on that goal, we shouldn't forget that Coutinho, Can and Firmino (who combined for the rest of the marvellous move) were all Brendan Rodgers signings.

Stuart Jarvis: Great movement, but not unstoppable. I'd be fuming if my Sunday league full back got caught out like Nyom. Woeful

Albion are causing their own problems. They are giving the ball away to a rampant Liverpool side and it's all one way traffic.

Time for a breather. And boy do West Brom need it. Liverpool swaggering, Albion staggering. The Reds are going top of the Premier League tonight.

Nope, no sign of a third. Yet. Liverpool go short, Albion clear. One minute of added time...

Clumsy. Jonas Olsson poleaxes Sadio Mane with a 'strong' challenge about 45 yards out from the Albion goal. Chance for a third?

Tony Pulis looks very worried as he scratches his head on the Anfield touchline. What to do? Popping another piece of minty chewing gum is the answer.

I almost forgot to mention the awful celebration by the Liverpool lads after that second goal. Phil Coutinho, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane bust out some dance moves that Roberto Martinez could be seen doing at a Jason Derulo concert.

If this stays 2-0 up to the half-time whistle it will be surprising.

More than two goals and it will be hard for Tony Pulis to reorganise his team - if I'm honest I think it's too late already.

Liverpool smell blood. Roberto Firmino tries to get in on the act, having a pot shot that just misses the target. Albion will be happy to go in two down at this rate...
