  4. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 82 mins

    Stoke 3-1 Swansea

Well that is bad luck! Erik Pieters wrestles with Wayne Routledge, he goes down and referee Michael Oliver points to the spot!

But, after a shout from the linesman, he changes his mind and gives a free-kick right on the edge of the area. It was one of those were the contact started just outside and continued well into the box.

Another goal for Wilfried Bony, another assist for Joe Allen.

This must be as galling for Swansea as it is delightful for Stoke.

The Swans had the chance to re-sign Allen this summer - how they might be ruing their decision not to.

  9. Postpublished at 77 mins

    Stoke 3-1 Swansea

This is the first time that Joe Allen has got two assists in a single Premier League game. He can do no wrong at the moment. Revitalised.

  10. YELLOW CARDpublished at 76 mins

    Stoke 3-1 Swansea

Marko Arnautovic is booked for a sliding tackle, which appeared to win plenty of the ball, and he will now be suspended too. Mark Hughes is livid about that.

  11. CLOSE!published at 75 mins

    Stoke 3-1 Swansea

Joe Allen is close to number four as he stretches to meet a telling cross from the right, and then from the corner Wilfried Bony heads it wide! When they concede Swansea have a habit of falling apart...

  12. 'Class from Arnautovic'published at 21:33 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2016

What a ball it is from Marko Arnautovic. It is real class, the vision and the timing of it. Joe Allen gets in the box again and Wilfried Bony scores.

It is just the pace and tempo of Swansea, they don't like it when teams hustle them. Stoke could get a few more here.

    Wilfried Bony

If you have stuck with Wilfried Bony up front in your fantasy football team, you are almost certainly related to the big man, but you'll be happy tonight.

Check out the pass in the build-up though from Marko Arnautovic, a lovely back-heeled nutmeg into the run of Joe Allen. Allen drives in hard, Lukasz Fabianski bats it out but Allen is able to pick out Bony lurking in the middle and he cushions a header into the net.

John Pierce: Charlie Adam still showing if the pace of the game is right then he can mix it with most. Best player on the park.

You're right - he has been excellent tonight.

Stoke have had spells when they look really good but then they drop off the pace and you can see why teams have beaten them.

    Stoke 2-1 Swansea

Stoke look to tee up Charlie Adam like England did Jonny Wilkinson circa 2003. Every time Wilfried Bony gets the ball he's looking to lay it off into Adam's arc. This time he slices his shot though, well off target with that one.

  17. Postpublished at 66 mins

    Stoke 2-1 Swansea

Swansea scored from nothing in the first half and they have a great chance for an equaliser again! One pass picks out Wayne Routledge, the Stoke defence get it all wrong, Routledge has Borja Baston totally free in the middle, tries to find him but Ryan Shawcross cuts it out.

    Was that the chance?

  18. Postpublished at 65 mins

    Stoke 2-1 Swansea

Right, into the last 25 minutes. Stoke look in the mood for more. Swansea's defence looks in a mood to allow them. Borja Baston has made a front two with Fernando Llorente.
