Ralph Pedersen: Gutted. That's what happens when your missing the spine of your team. Kane, Dembele & Alderweireld are irreplaceable in our squad

James Gallagher: It's not just Wembley, Spurs have one goal from open play in six games. I'll be surprised if we win a single game in November.

Real Madrid's entertaining 3-3 draw in Warsaw has left them in second place in Group F. As a fair few of you are pointing out, it would be awful luck for Arsenal if they finally win a Champions League group and end up playing Real or Bayern Munich anyway...

When you play matches at home against top teams in Europe your advantage is being at home in familiar surroundings. You can generate an atmosphere and here at Wembley it is a different surface, different surroundings.

It is just not White Hart Lane and it looked like that tonight and it is being highlighted by the sticky run they are on right now.

  5. N'Zonzi adds another for Sevillapublished at 21:43 Greenwich Mean Time 2 November 2016

    Sevilla 4-0 Dinamo Zagreb

It ends 4-0 to Sevilla against Dinamo Zagreb. Former Stoke midfielder Steven N'Zonzi putting the final nail in the coffin for the Croatian side, who will not be progressing to the last 16 after that defeat.

The Croatian side stayed true to form this evening, conceding four goals away from home in comparison with their average of 3.4 over their last 10 Champions League games on the road.

I don't think Tottenham can have any complaints. There was a lot of effort and huff and puff but the real zip and sparkle they have had so often has gone from their game at the moment.

Their players are all looking for someone to get them in front and be the difference and they don't have those players. They don't have anyone on the top of their game at the moment.

Leicester need a point from their remaining two games to ensure a place in the last 16. A very, very impressive campaign so far.

  10. Lyon equalise against Juventuspublished at 21:37 Greenwich Mean Time 2 November 2016

    Juventus 1-1 Lyon

Lyon have brought the scores level at 1-1 in Portugal. Corentin Tolisso puts one past keeper Gianluigi Buffon on his 100th Champions League appearance in a Juventus shirt.

That equaliser means Juventus will not secure their qualification to the knockout stage tonight.

AndyMac: Were Spurs and Levy right to take the money from Wembley or should they have stayed at home and enjoyed the experience ?

David Forster: I hope Spurs don't sue the toon over Sissoko. Damaged goods

Luke: Dier's only use is freekicks. When he is not scoring them he may as well not bother getting on the pitch

Tottenham have been disjointed. When I have watched them in the last 15 months I have always thought Tottenham have had a definite shape and I've always been impressed.

They have been on a run not being able to win in the league and tonight they have been edgy.

What was coming so natural a few matches ago is now a struggle, a fight.

What a stop! A save that should give Leicester a point as Kasper Schmeichel gets down sharply to stop a bullet header from Andreas Cornelius! He did the same in the game at Leicester between these two too...

  17. All square in Polandpublished at 21:33 Greenwich Mean Time 2 November 2016

    Legia Warsaw 3-3 Real Madrid

Legia Warsaw had taken the lead against Real Madrid through a fantastic Thibault Moulin strike, only to have their lead extinguished two minutes later by a Mateo Kovacic goal for Real Madrid.

Clearly an empty stadium suits the Polish team who have now scored three times as many goals in one night as they have in their last three Champions League group games.

You have to think that if Warsaw had played this well in their previous matches group games they might not need a result tonight quite so badly. The Polish team will not make the knockout stage as it stands as Borussia Dortmund remain 1-0 up against Sporting Lisbon.
