  1. As it stands across Europe at half-time..published at 20:47 Greenwich Mean Time 2 November 2016

Running out of fingers to do all of the maths? Let us do it for you..

As it stands in Group F, both Borussia Dormund and Real Madrid will go through to the last 16. Legia Warsaw will no longer have any chance of progressing.

In Group G, nothing is certain. With Porto currently 1-0 up, Leicester will need to claim three points to guarantee their qualification with two games remaining. Club Brugge will lose any chance of going through if they can't at least draw against Porto.

In Group H, both Juventus and Sevilla will be guaranteed a spot in the last 16 whilst Dinamo Zagreb will go crashing out after the group stage.

And as mentioned earlier, nothing can be decided in Group E tonight but as it stands Monaco will remain top of the pile with Tottenham in second.

  3. I want to return to the Premier League - Berbatovpublished at 20:44 Greenwich Mean Time 2 November 2016

Former Tottenham and Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov earlier told BBC Radio 5 live he wants to play in the Premier League again.

The Bulgarian is currently a free agent after being released by Greek side PAOK in the summer, but admits England's top flight is his preferred destination.

"When you've played in the Premier League you don't want to play anywhere else," he said.

"In this stage of my career I know where I am - I would happily play for a team where they use my experience and my knowledge. I can help young players develop and make the team stronger. In the end it's all about helping the team play."

Any takers Premier League fans? Could the 35-year-old help your team?

The Bulgarian will also be taking part in a Facebook live on the MOTD Facebook page, external after tonight's game.

  4. Falcao on fire in Monacopublished at 20:40 Greenwich Mean Time 2 November 2016

    Monaco 3-0 CSKA Moscow

Shortly before half-time Radamel Falcao put another past despairing CSKA Moscow keeper Igor Akinfeev to make it 3-0 to Monaco. The Russian side might be wishing they were playing behind closed doors soon.

Moscow have lost nine of their last 11 away games in the Champions League and will need a good second half not to add to that figure.

Groans of frustration from Spurs fans as half-time approached and understandably so. It has been a poor display and Leverkusen have looked comfortable.

Spurs look toothless without Harry Kane and Mauricio Pochettino needs to do some fast talking to lift his side at half-time.

It has been a mixed bag from Tottenham. They made a poor start and were not taking enough care in possession.

They got better but did not have an outstanding chance and in the last few minutes there were a few sloppy moments.

Leicester are top of their group as it stands - but they would not be through tonight.

  12. Andre Silva strikes again for Portopublished at 20:32 Greenwich Mean Time 2 November 2016

    Porto 1-0 Club Brugge

Porto have gone 1-0 up against Club Brugge thanks to Andre Silva. The Portugal midfielder now has 13 goals and two assists in 16 appearances for club and country this season.

It's not good news for the Belgian side though. They are yet to win a group game and will have no chance of making the knockout phase if they lose tonight.

Something to cheer about at last for the home fans as Dele Alli drills into the net - but the whistle had long gone for a foul by Vincent Janssen.

For Hernandez that is a sitter.

Walker has this in him. He is great offensively but defensively has these lapses.

What a chance! Dear oh dear Spurs should be behind!

It's a shocker from Kyle Walker, taking an age he just didn't have as he is tackled on the edge of his own box by Julian Brandt. The ball runs kindly for Javier Hernandez, who side-foots it from 15 yards - wide!

A bad miss - or great defending? Yes, Jan Vertonghen got a slight touch to send that past the post.

  17. Goals galore across Europe!published at 20:28 Greenwich Mean Time 2 November 2016

The pain is getting worse for Russian side CSKA Moscow, with Monaco now 2-0 up thanks to former Chelsea/Manchester United flop Radamel Falcao.

Meanwhile, in Spain Luciano Vietto has just put Sevilla 1-0 up against Dinamo Zagreb. The Croatian side have conceded an average of 3.4 goals per game across their last 10 Champions League matches - a figure they will need to improve on if they hope to keep their chances alive. Dinamo will not feature in the last 16 if they lose tonight.

In Poland, Gareth Bale now has a goal and an assist, having slid the ball across the box to Karim Benzema to put past the Legia Warsaw keeper. But here's hope for the Polish side yet as Vadis Odjidja has scored to limit the damage. Real Madrid are 2-1 up as it stands.

  18. Where's Vardy?published at 20:27 Greenwich Mean Time 2 November 2016

Just one shot on target - from Jeffrey Schlupp which dribbled into the hands of the Copenhagen goalkeeper - highlights how few chances either side have had in this match.

Premier League champions Leicester are content on sitting back while trying to use the pace of Riyad Mahrez and Ahmed Musa on the break.

But it means striker Jamie Vardy is left isolated at the top of the pitch and his eight touches on the ball is fewer than any other player on the pitch.

Not what you need when you are on a run of 11 games without a goal.

It took Tottenham half an hour to find their gears but now they are on top.

They are more confident and are playing predominantly in the Leverkusen half.

Vincent Janssen is yet to get going, the game is passing him by at the moment. Harry Kane aside, strikers have not had the easiest time in a Tottenham shirt in recent years have they?
