    FC Copenhagen 0-0 Leicester

The polar opposite of Manchester City v Barcelona, both sides playing so directly. You don't see this much in the Champions League but it almost works for the home side as Federico Santander drifts a header wide. He couldn't get over it.

There is a menace about Leverkusen in the way they attack. They have certainly started the game better.

A few groans from the crowd as another spell of Tottenham pressure falls down. It's just not happening for them at all at the moment.

Copenhagen are trying to hit the big man Federico Santander at every opportunity, it's an old-school affair so far. AWAY!

Robert Huth and Wes Morgan are all over this though. They'll head it clear all day long.

Tottenham need to sharpen up all round.

When you start a game like this and the opposition is putting you under pressure then knock it long. Let Son chase it and let the defence have a breather.

Ayo Obit: Gareth Bale just scored a worldy!!! ...But there was no on there to see it! Haha.

Andrew Priestley: What a strike from Gareth Bale! Pure technique. The perfect way to celebrate a new big fat contract too!

    Legia Warsaw 0-1 Real Madrid

Real Madrid 1-0 ahead already. At only 57 seconds it's the fastest goal Real have ever scored in the Champions League.

It's a fantastic shot by Gareth Bale, lashed in on the bounce from a full 25 yards, but sadly nobody but his team-mates and the groundsmen are there to see it.

The game's being played behind closed doors after crowd trouble at Legia Warsaw's last home Champions League match against Borussia Dortmund, which they lost 6-0.

Lovely touch from Dele Alli to beat his man but Ben Davies gives it away. Shoddy stuff still from Spurs.

    Tottenham 0-0 Bayer Leverkusen

A very shaky opening from Spurs, who look ragged at the back, Jan Vertonghen makes a mess of dealing with a simple pass and nearly clears it into a Bayer player. Mauricio Pochettino is not a happy man.

Strong start from the hosts who force a corner, but my word Leicester counter at some pace! Ahmed Musa is lightning!

Wembley lit up like a U2 gig as the Champions League anthem rings out. It's a fairly subdued atmosphere though - the 'new' Wembley is rarely rocking.

Dimitar Berbatov on former Bayer Leverkusen striker Javier Hernandez, who he played with at Manchester United:

"Hernandez was like Filippo Inzaghi. He gets the ball and scores goals.

"On the training ground you would never hear him complain. He trains hard and now at Leverkusen he is doing unbelievable and I am happy for him."

There is some confusion on social media as to why Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is not in the Borussia Dortmund squad. He's their key man and has had more shots from inside the box than any player in the Champions League this season.

Dortmund say he misses out due to "internal reasons". Some in the German media believe he has been suspended by the club for tonight's game.

Either way, he's out having his tea with his elder brother Catilina Aubameyang, who posted this image on Instagram in the last 20 minutes., external
