    Porto 2-0 Leicester

The only match statistic which Leicester have put a number into in the opening half hour is fouls conceded. I know they are already through and it is an irrelevance but this has been worse than lacklustre.

  2. goal

GOAL - Real Madrid 1-0 Borussia Dortmundpublished at 20:14 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December 2016

    Karim Benzema (26 mins)

It's been a relatively quiet start at the Bernabeu, but it's Real Madrid who strike first.

Right-back Dani Carvajal found himself in acres of space down the flank, but the quality of his cross was inch-perfect, leaving Karim Benzema with the simplest of conversions in the six-yard box.

Madrid topping the group as things stand.

  3. goal

GOAL - Porto 2-0 Leicesterpublished at 20:12 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December 2016

    Jesus Corona (26 mins)

    PICK THAT ONE OUT!

What a goal this is. Leicester's defending is from the help yourself school, but Jesus Corona's finish is sensational.

Alex Telles has an invite to cross from the left, he stands it up deep towards Corona, who winds up and waits for it on the volley, before crashing it into the roof of the net. Scholes-esque.

    Tottenham 0-0 CSKA Moscow

Dele Alli played through, a momentary hesitation as they all await an offside flag which never comes, and he scuffs a tame shot straight at Igor Akinfeev.

Shamim: Lots of empty seats in this "Europa League playoff", but what a chance for my son to experience Champions League at Wembley.

    Porto 1-0 Leicester

Andre Silva looks a cut above - the next Porto player to come to the Premier League for a king's ransom? He plays a one-two almost unchallenged before leaning back and slashing over the top.

Copenhagen fans will be rather unhappy with Leicester as things stand.

They're now 2-0 up at Club Brugge thanks to a goal from Zanka, but it isn't looking like the Premier League champions are going to be doing them any favours over in Portugal.

Porto are dominant - 69% of possession dominant.

    Porto 1-0 Leicester

I don't think Leicester have had the ball in Porto's half so far.

    Tottenham 0-0 CSKA Moscow

CSKA put the ball out of play, and Dele Alli is meant to just play it back to Igor Akinfeev. Instead the England man loop a cheeky effort on goal from maybe 30 yards which has the Russian keeper scampering back, but lands on the roof of the net...

Eric Dier needed a touch of treatment but he seems to be OK as Christian Eriksen then has a good chance to open the scoring but puts his low shot right at Igor Akinfeev.

Porto are doing the business against Leicester, but if they slip up, Copenhagen are doing all they can to ensure they're in place to take advantage.

The Danish club are 1-0 up at Club Brugge courtesy of a Brandon Mechele own goal. All they need now is Claudio Ranieri's team to come to the party...

    Porto 1-0 Leicester

Leicester could get a pasting tonight if they don't sort things out - two dangerous crosses come into the middle after first Luis Hernandez and then Ben Chilwell are taken apart by Porto wingers. The men in red this evening are looking like a team which don't need a win.

  14. CLOSE!published at 19:55 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December 2016

    Porto 1-0 Leicester

Porto are in the mood. Diogo Jota skins Marcin Wasilewski with a brilliant touch on the halfway line and then he's away. Runs to the edge of the box and shoots low and hard - but wide.

  15. CLOSE!published at 19:54 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December 2016

    Tottenham 0-0 CSKA Moscow

Spurs have the first real chance at Wembley as Dele Alli finds a pocket of space to meet a cross from the right, but skims his header wide.

    Andre Silva (6 mins)

Leicester's set-piece defending has been awful at times this season and they concede an early one again, from a corner.

Jeff Schlupp has his hands all over Andre Silva as the ball comes in but he can't stop the forward heading down and into the net. Ben Hamer didn't move in the Leicester goal.

    Porto 0-0 Leicester

Considering Porto need a result to get through tonight it's a subdued atmosphere in the Dragao.
