Almost! What does £30m get you these days in a defender? Acrobatics in the opposition box. Eric Bailly tries to hook the ball in over his shoulder, but the home keeper stops it easily.

United back on the front foot. And they win another corner. Three were fluffed earlier, can their fourth produce something?

Much better from the home side. The Ukrainians break quickly down the left on the counter, midfielder Olexandr Karavaev's spectacular half-volley flashing past Sergio Romero's left-hand post.

    That's raised the volume.

Another sighter for Paul Pogba. But, again, he cannot test home keeper Igor Levchenko. His rising shot goes into Row H.

United keeper Sergio Romero has just received jolt - but it is nothing to do with the Zorya players. Instead it is the home fans who cause a fright after lobbing a firecracker into his six-yard box. The Uefa coffers may be boosted by a fine...

    Maccabi Tel Aviv 1-1 Dundalk

A speedy response from Dundalk as Chris Shields plays the ball in from the right and it goes in off defender Eli Dasa, under pressure from Daryl Horgan, for an own goal.

This is living up to the hype. Nothing happening. Apologies... Juan Mata has just smashed a 35-yard pass over Zlatan Ibrahimovic's head and out for a goal-kick.

    Maccabi Tel Aviv 1-0 Dundalk

Tal Ben Chaim nets from the spot on 21 minutes after Dundalk keeper Gary Rogers brings down Haris Medunjanin. It all came from a mistake by Dundalk defender Brian Gartland who got caught in possession just outside his own penalty area. An uphill task for the League of Ireland champions now - but they've defied the odds before.

    Zorya Luhansk 0-0 Man Utd

Some good news for Manchester United. And it is not from Ukraine.

Over in the Netherlands, Fenerbahce have taken the lead at Feyenoord. It's that man Moussa Sow again. And again it is a spectacular overhead kick. He doesn't do simple goals, does he?!

More importantly, that means United would go through regardless of what happens here if that scoreline stays the same.

Paul Pogba gallops through the Zorya midfield from the halfway line. He's like a modern-day Carlton Palmer this lad. But his pass towards Wayne Rooney is a little heavy and the United skipper boots the ball out of touch in frustration.

Six Europa League ties have already finished tonight, with Villarreal sealing their place in the last 32 following a 2-1 win over Steau.

They go through along with Osmanlispor from Group L with the Turkish side winning the group after beating Zurich 2-0.

PAOK join Fiorentina in progressing from Group J after a 2-0 defeat of Liberec secured second place.

Gent beat Konyaspor to finish second in Group H as group winners Shakhtar Donetsk brushed aside Braga 4-2.

Manchester United are knocking loudly on the Zorya door. Not quite like a set of angry bailiffs yet, more like a delivery man sick of carrying your parcel about.

Three successive corners for the visitors, but the home defence survives.

Paul Pogba needs to score more goals, they say. The world's MEP is trying his best tonight. The £90m man pops up in space inside the Zorya penalty area, heading Ashley Young's right-wing cross high and wide.

    Zorya Luhansk 0-0 Man Utd

The closest we have come to a goal. Neat build-up from Manchester United ends in Paul Pogba whistling a 20-yard shot past the right-hand post. Close but not close enough.

How do you keep yourself warm in these temperatures? By pogoing around in the stands like you're at a punk gig if you're a Zorya fan.

Manchester United's tactics look quite clear - test out this inexperienced Zorya keeper early doors. Another ball goes into the box from Juan Mata but Igor Levchenko gathers as Zlatan Ibrahimovic's hot breath hits his face.

  20. Setback for Dundalk hopespublished at 18:16 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2016

    Maccabi Tel Aviv 0-0 Dundalk

Bad news coming through from the AZ v Zenit match. Second-placed AZ have scored through Ben Rienstra's seventh-minute goal. If the Dutch side win they go through as Group D runners-up, no matter what Maccabi or Dundalk do.
