  1. Where's Herrera's hug?published at 19:43 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November 2016

Remember Robin Van Persie embracing some United players before kick-off? It seems Herrera is late to the party.

    Zenit St Petersburg 2-1 Dundalk

Patrick McEleney almost equalises for Dundalk but his audacious lob over the Zenit goalkeeper rebounds off the woodwork. So near yet so far for the Irish side.

Luke Dady: If England were a club team, they'd be Man Utd. Lots of possession, but no clue how to use it.

Bizarre: None of the current United squad look deserving of wearing the badge

  4. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 81 mins

    Fenerbahce 2-0 Man Utd

Second change for the hosts as Alper Potuk is replaced by Roman Neustadter. Potuk is no rush, applauding all sides of the ground as he ambles towards the dugouts.

The Fenerbahce fans are in full voice and have been treated to two wonderful goals from their side this evening. From Icelandic style clapping to Zlatan booing - they have had a night they won't forget.

    Fenerbahce 2-0 Man Utd

You have to hand it to Dick Advocaat, he's got his tactics spot on tonight. They may not have had much of the ball but have been effective on the counter. The addition of Emmanuel Emineke has just added some pace to attack the tiring Manchester United defence and the hosts go close again from another quick break.

This time, Jeremain Lens drives the ball across the face of goal and Emineke sticks out a boot, but just fails to make the crucial contact.

  7. Dundalk fall behindpublished at 19:38 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November 2016

    Zenit St Petersburg 2-1 Dundalk

Zenit's superiority eventually pays dividends as Giuliano scores his second of the game and fifth of the tournament to put the Russians ahead in the 78th minute.

It's a scrappy goal as Dundalk miss several chances to clear the ball but they all count!

    Fenerbahce 2-0 Man Utd

Once again Fenerbahce break on the pace and David de Gea stretches to his left to hold a Emmanuel Emenike strike from distance.

I'd say the biggest disappointment about this Manchester United display has been their inability to switch things around. Attacking through the middle hasn't worked, yet they continue to persist with it. They seem out of ideas, or unwilling to try something new.

There's been plenty of yellow cards dished out in this game and there's another now, this time for Juan Mata as he goes in heavy on Alper Potuk.

  11. YELLOW CARDpublished at 71 mins

    Fenerbahce 2-0 Man Utd

Martin Skrtel catches Zlatan Ibrahimovic's ankle to earn himself a yellow and give Manchester United a free-kick 30 yards from goal.

Ibrahimovic stands over the ball, the air filled with jeers and whistles once again before bursting into ironic cheers as the striker slams his effort into the wall. Poor.

Major: JOSE OUT already please Ancelotti in

Ejiofor Ozoagu: Mourinho has completely lost it. How he decides to take Rash out. Rooney, Ibra & Damian still on the field = PERPLEXING

  13. CLOSE!published at 68 mins

    Fenerbahce 2-0 Man Utd

Emmanuel Emineke almost makes an immediate impression. The former West Ham striker breaks clear of the Manchester United defence to attack a cross, but he fluffs his first touch allowing David de Gea to make the save.

  14. Rogers to the rescuepublished at 19:29 Greenwich Mean Time 3 November 2016

    Zenit St Petersburg 1-1 Dundalk

Dundalk goalkeeper Gary Rogers makes another fine save, denying Mauricio. The home side are well on top and the League of Ireland champions have 20 minutes to hold out for what would would be a hugely significant result.

  15. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 66 mins

    Fenerbahce 2-0 Man Utd

As it stands Manchester United are dropping to third in Group A, behind Feyenoord and Fernebahce.

The hosts make a change as Emmanuel Emenike comes on for Volkan Sen.

Dundalk may have drawn level against Zenit but the Russian will still go through to the knockout stages with a point.

Former Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko has scored his second of the night and Roma's third against Austria Vienna. That one is 3-1.

Anderlecht have scored a third against Mainz and lead 3-1 and Genk have pulled one back against Athletic Bilbao to make that game 3-2.
