Aberdeen are preparing for Saturday's Premiership encounter at Celtic Park.
And the Dons, without captain Ryan Jack who is sidelined through injury, will be aiming to impress in Glasgow.
Derek McInnes said: "It's difficult to replace Ryan Jack, like for like. We'll try to find a way that suits us and lets us get that natural rhythm in our passing game.
"Also, it's about making sure we're in positions and be good enough to try to stop the opposition playing as well - which is always important when you go to Celtic Park and not let the game get too stretched.
"Whoever gets in will know their job and responsibilities, and will hopefully we can carry them out well."
On the game against Celtic, McInnes added: "There's a responsibility for us to try and win every game and that will be no different tomorrow."
Celtic: Only Gary Mackay-Steven is unavailable for Celtic, with the winger recovering from ankle surgery, but fellow midfielder Stefan Johansen is unlikely to be involved against Aberdeen pending a likely transfer to Fulham. Defender Jozo Simunovic has resumed training after a knee injury but is short of match-fitness.
Dundee: Former Nice central defender Kevin Gomis could make his debut against Motherwell, while midfield duo Michael Duffy and Paul McGowan have been passed fit to return. But striker Craig Wighton and midfielder James Vincent are definitely out after being treated for having fluid in the knee. Defender James McPake is a long-term absentee.
Hamilton Academical: Midfielder Danny Redmond has recovered from a knee injury, while former Partick Thistle defender Dan Seaborne and former Hartlepool United striker Rakish Bingham could make their debuts against Ross County after signing during the week. Player-manager Martin Canning and fellow defenders Jesus Garcia Tena, Craig Watson and Jordan McGregor are still sidelined while Antons Kurakins left the club this week.
Hearts: Jamie Walker is available to face Partick Thistle after suspension, while fellow midfielder Angus Beith is nearing a return from injury.
Partick Thistle: Midfielder Sean Welsh is suspended for the match against Hearts, while long-term absentees Stuart Bannigan, Gary Fraser and Mustapha Dumbuya remain out.
Ross County: Tim Chow could make his Ross County debut against Hamilton Accies after the midfielder signed after his Wigan Athletic exit. Striker Brian Graham left for Hibernian last weekend.
St Johnstone: Midfielder Chris Millar and striker Michael Coulson are fit to return against Inverness Caledonian Thistle. But defenders Tam Scobbie, Dave Mackay and Keith Watson remain sidelined.

Celtic midfielder Stefan Johansen could be on his way to Fulham, with the Scottish champion's manager, Brendan Rodgers, confirming that the Norwegian is poised to leave the club after failing to agree a contract extension.
"Stefan's going into the last year of his contract," Rodgers said.
"He has worked over pre-season and it's been difficult because he's been unable to reach an agreement with the club.
"But I think he has always wanted to play in England, so the opportunity has come for him.
"He wasn't going to sign a new deal, so it's one that probably works well for both really.
"I don't think it's complete yet, but it's something that could happen, possibly in the next couple of days."

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers says his team aren't in the Champions League to make up the numbers - although they've been drawn against what he calls the world's elite.
Regarding Group C opponents Barcelona, Manchester City and Borrussia Munchengladbach, Rodgers said: "They are three huge teams.
"Barcelona are the best in the world and Machester City under Pep Guardiola are developing a new style similar to Barcelona. We've been drawn against possibly the best teams in each of the pots."
Celtic hope to bring in one or two players before the transfer window closes on Wednesday, Rodgers added.
