  1. YELLOW CARDpublished at 48mins

    Celtic 2-1 Rangers

Celtic defender Kolo Toure is booked for a clumsy challenge on Joe Garner, sliding in and lifting his foot to trip the Rangers scorer.

  2. Brown v Bartonpublished at 47mins

    Celtic 2-1 Rangers

In the build-up to Celtic's first goal, Brown beat Barton in the air that lead to the attack by Sinclair which brought the corner that delivered the goal.

Hasn't been many moments when Brown and Barton have gone head-to-head but that was a significant one. Rangers are looking tired and increasingly vulnerable.

  9. Rangers tiringpublished at 12:53 British Summer Time 10 September 2016

    Celtic 2-1 Rangers

    Tom English

Celtic look fitter. Rodgers will be buzzing. He will see that there are more goals in this game as Rangers tire. I think we saw Rangers weakening at the end of the first half.

  10. Garner's magic head bandpublished at 12:52 British Summer Time 10 September 2016

    Celtic 2-1 Rangers

Back to Joe Garner's black or navy blue and white head band - the debate rages on. We think it's maybe a "nod" (geddit?) to Preston North End's colours. Anyway, he enjoyed his goal - it showied his hunger and alertness.

  11. Rangers 'given a lifeline'published at 12:49 British Summer Time 10 September 2016

    Celtic 2-1 Rangers

Former Rangers and Scotland striker Steven Thompson on Radio Scotland: "Out of nothing, Rangers are back in the game even though they probably don't deserve to be. It is really poor from Celtic, Kenny Miller pulled off the last defender and it De Vries looked slow to get back to me. Rangers have been given a lifeline after looking completely out of this game. Rangers will be unbelievably happy to get to half-time at 2-1, believe me."

  12. HALF-TIMEpublished at 45mins

    Celtic 2-1 Rangers

  13. goal

    GOALpublished at 44mins

    Celtic 2-1 Rangers (Garner)

Well, we have a game on now. Celtic were good value for their two-goal lead but Rangers are back in it after the former Preston striker Joe Garner nodded in - with head band and all - from all of 80cm. James Tavernier's cross from the right to the back post was headed in a looping fashion by Kenny Miller to the opposite back post where Garner was lurking to score.

  14. goal

    GOALpublished at 41mins

    Celtic 2-0 Rangers (Dembele)

It's a classy finish from Moussa Dembele, clipping the ball past Wes Foderingham with the outside of his right boot, after he had wrong-footed Philippe Senderos, all the result of a poor pass by Rob Kiernan which was intercepted by Tom Rogic and duly knocked forward for the scorer.

  15. Kranjcar's strugglespublished at 40mins

    Celtic 1-0 Rangers

Rangers midfielder Niko Kranjcar is struggling with the pace of this match. He's on a booking and is flirting with further punishment from the referee Willie Collum. We might not be seeing him in the second half.

  18. 'Horrendous defending from Rangers'published at 37mins

    Celtic 1-0 Rangers

Former Rangers and Scotland striker Steven Thompson on Radio Scotland: "How slack from Rangers.  We talk about how well they have defended, making it difficult for Celtic to break them down. Then a simple corner into the box, and Dembele is left unmarked six yards out and he couldn't miss.  It is horrendous defending from Rangers, horrendous."

  19. Almost twopublished at 35mins

    Celtic 1-0 Rangers

And Wes Foderingham rushes from his line to deny Celtic a second almost straight from the re-start. The Englishman dropped the ball at first but Rangers hoof it clear before Tom Rogic can connect.

  20. goal

    GOALpublished at 33mins

    Celtic 1-0 Rangers (Dembele)

Rangers' defence goes to sleep and Celtic go in front as Moussa Dembele leaps to head powerfully past Wes Foderingham. Scott Sinclair provided the corner kick.
