    Barcelona 5-0 Celtic

Nir Bitton breaks up another Barca attack and decides to have a pop at goal from the halfway line, but his effort bounces harmlessly into the hands of Barca keeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

  2. Irrepressible Messipublished at 21:06 British Summer Time 13 September 2016

    Barcelona 5-0 Celtic

    Pat Bonner
BBC Scotland pundit at Camp Nou

"This could become quite embarrassing now. Again Celtic are giving the ball away and you just can't do that. Messi had that real desire to put the ball in the net and Celtic were just standing still."

  3. goal

    Lionel Messi (hat-trick)

This is officially a hiding now.

76 seconds after conceding the fourth Celtic concede a fifth.

Luis Suarez steals in behind the tiring defence and squares for Messi to slide in and turn the ball home to complete his hat-trick.

Celtic have another half-hour of this left......

  4. goal

    Andres Iniesta

    Wow!

Neymar goes to the byline and clips a cross into the box where Andres Iniesta arrives to execute a wonderful first time volley to crash the ball into the net.

    Stunning!

  5. YELLOW CARDpublished at 56 mins

    Barcelona 2-0 Celtic

Scott Brown goes into the book after a petulant push on Neymar, who accepts the invitation to throw himself to the floor in rather dramatic fashion.

    A bit silly all round.

  6. Postpublished at 53 mins

    Barcelona 3-0 Celtic

It is a damage limitation job for Celtic now.

Moussa Dembele was the hero against Rangers at the weekend, bagging a hat-trick in a 5-1 win.

It's a different story for the striker this evening though. He's cut an isolated figure up front, and when his one big chance came along he missed from the penalty spot with the score at 1-0.

Tough shift for the Frenchman but he continues to battle manfully.

  7. goal

GOAL Barcelona 3-0 Celticpublished at 49 mins

    Neymar

No way back now for Celtic.

Neymar and Messi stand over a free-kick 20 yards out directly in front of goal. You expect Messi to have a pop as he chases a hat-trick but it's Neymar who steps up to curl the ball over the wall and high into the net.

It's an excellent free-kick but Dorus de Vries - who got a hand to it - may feel he should have kept it out.

    Tom English
BBC Sport Scotland at Camp Nou

"This is just gorgeous football. I don't want to get too pompous about it but it is art. Two goals from Messi, two assists from Neymar. Their speed of thought is just incredible. It's a different level of football. If Celtic can hang on and keep it at 2-0 that is a good night's work."

  12. Caught in the headlightspublished at 20:39 British Summer Time 13 September 2016

    Barcelona 2-0 Celtic

    Scott McDonald
    BBC Scotland pundit

"Brendan Rodgers would have been saying to keep things tight and grow in to the game and within three minutes they've scored. He will be pulling his hair out. It was almost like a rabbit in the headlights. Scott Sinclair has been the shining light for Celtic. [On Dembele penalty miss] As soon as you miss a penalty...in the Nou Camp...1-0 down, it's bound to deflate you."
