  3. No fear for Leeds at Derbypublished at 14:28

    Derby v Leeds (15:00 BST)

The first thing that strikes me about this fixture is how are Derby struggling with such a good squad of players?

Jacob Butterfield, Will Hughes and Bradley Johnson are as strong as a midfield three most Championship sides could hope for. There is experience throughout the while Tom Ince is supremely talented and Matej Vydra has been a regular scorer in the Championship for the past few seasons.

Saying that, Leeds are in form and the improving performances are in the main being rewarded.

Fans are talking about having a pride in watching their team again which is helped by the presence of a new cult hero in the imperious defender Pontus Jansson and the exciting but often frustrating winger Hadi Sacko.

Head coach Garry Monk, who serves a one-match touchline ban today, feels his methods are being taken on board and the 4-2-3-1 system is working, so there should be no fear for United at the Ipro.

  4. Loftus Road goes double Dutchpublished at 14:24

    QPR v Reading (15:00 BST)

Two of the most formidable Dutchmen to ever grace English football do battle this afternoon at Loftus Road - but this time it's in the dugout.

Jaap Stam and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink were Netherlands team-mates but Premier League opponents in the early 2000s.

Today, Stam's Reading side take on Hasselbaink's QPR at Loftus Road.

Both are trying to bring their own brand of 'total football' to the Championship, favouring a possession-based, passing game.

That, Stam told BBC Radio Berkshire, could make for an entertaining afternoon.

There are only two teams in the EFL who are still unbeaten this season.

In League One Stuart McCall's Bradford have started their first dozen games with six wins and six draws to leave them second in the table. They travel to 13th-placed Oxford today.

Carlisle are the only team in League Two yet to taste defeat in 2016-17. The Cumbrians, who have five wins and seven draws so far, host Hartlepool this afternoon.

Aston Villa, who take on Wolves in this evening's game, are currently on a run of three league wins in their last 47 matches.

The Villans have not won a match away from Villa Park since 8 August 2015.

With that in mind we'd like to know what the worst run of form you've been involved in is?

Have you ever played in a team that lost every match in a season?

Has the club you support ever suffered back-to-back relegations?

We want your tales of woe. Get in touch using #BBCEFL on Twitter.

It was a great start to life as Cardiff City boss for Neil Warnock as his side overcame Bristol City 2-1 last night.

Goals from Peter Whittingham and debutant Sol Bamba were enough to give the Bluebirds just their third win of the season.

Elsewhere in the Championship Nottingham Forest eased to a 3-1 win over sixth-placed Birmingham City.

It's been a long two weeks for the 18 Championship clubs in action today.

Two of them used the international break to bring in new managers, with Steve McClaren returning to Derby and Steve Bruce taking over from the sacked Roberto di Matteo at Aston Villa.

McClaren's men take on Leeds United while Bruce will be looking to guide Villa to only their second win of the season when they host Wolves in the evening kick off.
