  1. Slovenia 0-0 Slovakiapublished at 28 mins

    Alasdair Lamont
    BBC Sport Scotland in Slovenia

A shortage of clear-cut chances in Ljubljana but the home side have had the better of the match so far. Marek Hamsik hasn't been able to get on the ball at all. He's dropping deep to try to get possession but Slovenia's Rene Krhin is shadowing his every move. Is a man-marking job something Gordon Strachan might consider on Tuesday?

That might be Martin's first touch after 25 minutes and he almost scored. Did well to stretch for a Snodgrass cross and his angled shot was just a couple of feet wide.

Better from Scotland. Callum Paterson feeds Robert Snodgrass who in turn hangs up a cross for Chris Martin. The striker manages to clip a shot back across goal but it drifts wide.

    Richard Wilson
    BBC Scotland at Hampden

Hampden has been a little subdued by the directness, crisp passing and general assertiveness of Lithuania. Scotland are yet to find their rhythm or any sense of authority. Bannan and Fletcher need to take control of midfield, which they are capable of, but the danger lies on the flanks, particularly on Lithuania's left where Novikovas has been sprightly. Time for cool heads...

    Scotland 0-0 Lithuania

Former Scotland striker Steven Thompson on Radio Scotland: "Chris Martin really has been anonymous so far. Whenever we have had the ball in defence, we have been quite direct and I thought they would use him and get Robert Snodgrass around him. But he has seen nothing of the ball."

That was yellow that could have been red for Lithuania. An elbow used against Andy Robertson. Then another great delivery from Matt Ritchie and Callum Paterson's header glided just wide.

Moments later and Robert Snodgrass flashes a free-kick wide of the target.
