The teams are out on the lush Hampden turf amid an almighty din at the National Stadium. Thunderous music gives it a kind of Hitman & Her feel; no sign, though, of Michaela Strachan or Pete Waterman. National anthem time; and it's the Lithuanian version first.

It's time for the final preparations inside the dressing room. An unchanged Scotland tells of consistency and the manager's confidence in his players, but strong cases would be made for James McArthur in midfield, and Leigh Griffiths or Steven Fletcher up front.
Even so, that means there is strength on the bench in case Scotland need to take command of this game in a different way. Gordon Strachan felt it would have been foolish to have acknowledged it before the game, but this is a must-win encounter for his Scotland side...
