The 17-year wait is over...published at 17:55 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2016
England v Scotland (19:45 GMT)
"We hate them, and they hate us.
"That's why it matters."
Gordon McQueen, Scotland stalwart and a rugged centre-back for Leeds, Manchester United and St Mirren, did not mince his words when asked to sum up the England-Scotland rivalry. Or maybe that should be Scotland-England.
Nobody gets on with their neighbours though do they? Not really.
You may put on a smile and have periods of detente, but all it takes is one noisy late night, one piece of inconsiderate parking, one Paul Scholes brace or David Seaman save to kick things off again.
It's been 17 years since England and Scotland met in a competitive game...
Tonight the neighbours are in town, and they intend to be very, very, very noisy indeed.
