Three wreaths are laid in the centre-circle. The last post is played, Wembley falls silent.
Both teams line up solemnly across one another in the centre circle.

Representatives from both FAs and all three armed forces are out on the pitch to lay wreaths for Armistice Day.
The two anthems were booed but I'd expect the planned silence to go without a hitch.

It looks like the bulk of the Tartan Army are now inside Wembley and making a substantial racket. Most of those I spoke to today were honest enough to accept there is not one shred of evidence pointing towards an away victory. And yet.....
England v Scotland (19:45 GMT)
Not to be outdone, the Scotland fans have a good go at jeering and booing the England national anthem.
Whether you are for that kind of thing or not, you can't argue that we have got a 'proper' atmosphere inside the new Wembley tonight. And that doesn't happen all too often.

The Scottish national anthem is jeered fairly loudly at Wembley - it's also sung loudly by a huge travelling support.
Estimates at their number vary form 10,000 to 30,000. That was Ryan Giggs' guess on ITV. I think that might be pushing it.

Craig Jardine: What is Strachan thinking about. James Forrest? He is useless. No McArthur? Joke team.
Peter from Larne: Can only see England winning by a couple of goals at least. The players on England's bench would confortably beat that Scotland XI.

Lewis Sutherland: Can Scotland win? Of course they can. England will be too busy laughing at THAT strip to perform.
Fraser Allan: Never felt so uninspired. Poorly selected squad... Would love a win of course, just don't see it.

The teams are lined up. Darren Fletcher has the Scots out early and bright - very bright pink.
Wayne Rooney shakes his former Manchester United team-mate by the hand and it's a genial enough atmosphere down there.
Into the [Three] Lions' den they go...

Scotland manager Gordon Strachan speaks to ITV: "We are not a team that's a top team that says this is how we play. We have to say what's the oppostion? And what's the best team we can play against this opposition?
"We have to pick a team that suits the opposition.
"It's a wonderful occasion. Most Scottish managers are now saying 'I wish I was him'.
"I'm lucky, the players are lucky and the fans here are lucky. It's a big challenge, a great challenge. We are disappointed with parts of the last two performances. It's a game that can help us feel good about ourselves and the whole nation."
England v Scotland (19:45 GMT)
This will be only the third time that these two sides have met in a World Cup qualifier – the previous two were both won by England (1950 and 1954).
Scotland have won just two of their last eight qualification games (World Cup and Euros combined) and these two wins have come against Gibraltar and Malta (D3 L3).
Only Germany (71.9%) and Spain (71.8%) have averaged more possession than England (71.2%) in the 2018 World Cup qualification stages so far.

It is 144 years since these two sides first met.
I'm not saying that was a long time ago but it was a week before the Mary Celeste turned up, and two weeks before Indiana Jones' dad was even born...
