Almost a sniff of a chance for Serbia on the break, after Aaron Ramsey lost the ball, but as Filip Kostic runs into the box James Chester makes a fine tackle.

Branislav Ivanovic attacks the corner, downwards header, OFF THE LINE! Neil Taylor in the right place at the right time!

It has been a decent start from Wales. They have controlled the ball and are looking to make an impact in the game.

Hal Robson-Kanu really offers Wales an out ball every time, he's always looking to run in behind, stretching the game. Chris Gunter then finds Aaron Ramsey on the edge of the area and his drive is deflected away.

There is that controlled possession, Aaron Ramsey starts the danger with a jinking run past two men, he then tees up Gareth Bale just outside the D, he switches it onto his right foot on this occasion and he flashes a rising drive over the top.

Another set-piece, a free-kick this time but for once Gareth Bale duffs his connection and it's easily dealt with. Neither side yet to get any proper, controlled possession.

Wales have started with Sam Vokes and Hal Robson-Kasu up front, the two big men going right through the heart of the Serbian defence. Gareth Bale will pay around them with Aaron Ramsay next furthest up the field.

Joe Allen and Joe Ledley will sit in front of the back four. Bale will be told to influence the game.

Serbia, in white shirts and blue shorts tonight, possess plenty of experience and they have started competently. Nemanja Matic, playing as well as ever for Chelsea at the moment, is a force in the middle as the visitors win a corner.

It is right we respect the servicemen from Wales and all around the world.

We have taken every measure to do that including a huge mural from the supporters but just without the poppy on the shirt or armbands.

There has been total respect for the war heroes before us.

It's the law in the 2016-17 season that at least one team has to play three at the back, Wales normally do but they've gone to a flat four. Thankfully, Serbia go with a 3-5-2.

A fine atmosphere for both national anthems in Cardiff. No poppies on display for the players but the crowd form a poppy, and the players are wearing black armbands.

No issue there for anyone, I'm sure. Let's get down to business.

    Wales v Serbia (19:45 GMT)

Wales manager Chris Coleman: "We have decided to change it round to a back four based on what Serbia have been doing. We need to play on the front foot, they are a good team.

"I've been banging the drum that the Euros are finished, they are behind us. We are a different team now playing for the World Cup. Tonight is not the be all and end all but there are only 10 games.

    "It's not a must-win game. It's a must perform, that's what it is."
