    Wales 1-0 Serbia

Some 'proper' tackling out there now. First Joe Ledley times his slide to perfection, Stuart Pearce-esque, and then Neil Taylor flies into one on the sidelines, he ends up winning the bouncing ball with his head but that was out of control. He's lucky not to be booked there.

Looks like Hal Robson-Kanu was winded in that challenge, after a stretch out and a dash of water he's OK and able to continue.

Hal Robson-Kanu goes down holding his side after a fairly innocuous challenge. A knee in the back maybe? He is struggling.

Wales looks relatively comfortable and Serbia have not been too threatening. They do have some dangerous players on the pitch though.

Dusan Tadic's free-kick pinballs around the box, Wayne Hennessey comes to push it out, nervy times in the Wales defence. They have lost their grip on the game at the moment.

Joe Allen joins Gareth Bale in the book for chopping down Dusan Tadic, who is still bleeding from that facial injury.

    Wales 1-0 Serbia

Good defensive work from Joe Allen to nip in and make a tackle, Wales won't want to sit back too deep and invite pressure. Corner Serbia.

    Wales 1-0 Serbia

Gareth Bale to hit one, over the wall, good effort - punched clear by Vladimir Stojkovic. Carnage in the goalmouth when the cross comes back in, Joe Ledley is there looking for the loose change but they just about scrabble it out.

    Wales 1-0 Serbia

Joe Ledley switches the play nicely to start an attack, Gareth Bale's cross is nearly right on to the head of Sam Vokes, cleared, Joe Allen is tripped and that's a free-kick well in Bale's area...

Zombie Nation on the playlist in Cardiff. Saturday night fever.

Wales will have to raise their game to see this one out I reckon.

Richard: Nervy. Serbia are first to every second, third, fourth ball. We need to tighten up second half

  13. Italy and Spain in controlpublished at 20:41 Greenwich Mean Time 12 November 2016

It's as expected in the other qualifying matches. Italy are thrashing Liechtenstein 4-0 thanks to goals from Andrea Belotti (2), Ciro Immobile and Antonio Candreva.

It's the first time the Italians have scored four goals in a first half since 1987. Their opponents then were Malta.

Spain have finally broken the deadlock against Macedonia with a Darko Velkoski own goal the difference at the break. The hosts have enjoyed an incredible 83% of possession and made 463 passes, but have only had three shots on target. Macedonia? 91 passes for the visitors and one shot on target.

Elsewhere, Israel are still leading Albania 1-0 and Ukraine lead Finland 1-0.

A great goal from Gareth Bale, hit with real power.

It has been good tactics from Chris Coleman. Strikers Sam Vokes and Hal Robson-Kanu have been causing havoc and Wales are on top. Serbia have had a couple of half-chances, but the Welsh deservedly lead.

Bale remonstrated with the referee and was give a yellow card for a Serbian player's reaction so he will be treading on eggshells for the rest of the qualifying campaign.

This could spill over in the second half. It's bubbling over. Aaron Ramsey is lamped on the touchline and then Gareth Bale is cleaned out too! Two for the price of one.

Matija Nastasic is the one who gets booked, the former Manchester City man will miss the next game.

He got hold of that! Nemanja Matic shifts the ball on to his left foot, 25 yards from goal, it's right at Wayne Hennessey but it was seriously shifting. Good stop.

That is pretty poor, I must say, as Nikola Maksimovic this time goes down holding his face. There are no Welsh dissenters around him on this occasion. Hal Robson-Kanu didn't touch him.
