    Manchester City 0-0 Middlesbrough

Pep Guardiola has gone for a long black coat with a hood today.

    No hat though. Or gloves.

He looks as though he might be a little bit cold.

    Chris Waddle
Ex-England winger, BBC Radio 5 live at Etihad Stadium

It's what we thought - Manchester City are dominating the ball and they might leave gaps at the back.

Middlesbrough are playing two banks of red shirts and they don't mind if the ball goes out wide. It's all City.

    Man City 0-0 Middlebrough

It is like an attack v defence drill on the training ground. Pass, pass, pass by City as they try to pick the Boro lock. The visitors have barely been out of their own half. However, City are yet to create a clearcut chance.

  4. 'Moyes could go if they lose'published at 15:20 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2016

    Bournemouth 1-0 Sunderland

    Chris Sutton
    Ex-Chelsea striker on Final Score

Sunderland have been rubbish. Bournemouth are well on top, I just can't see a way out for Sunderland, they are in massive trouble. It would not surprise me if David Moyes goes after the game today. If you stick with him, you are saying we are relegated, which they will be.

Sunderland boss David Moyes took his players on a tour of a car factory in midweek. It looks like some of them must still be on it, because it's like they're playing without a full team at the moment. Bournemouth absolutely bossing possession.

  6. Championship latestpublished at 15:20 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2016

There's a strong Manchester United connection at the DW Stadium today. Reading boss Jaap Stam, a former Red Devils defender, is up against Warren Joyce, who left his job as United's reserve team manager, to take over with the Latics.

And it's Stam's side who are the quickest out the blocks and have raced into a 2-0 lead in the space of five minutes with two goals from Garath McCleary.

Championship leaders Newcastle, meanwhile, have an early lead at home to Cardiff thanks to a goal from Chelsea loanee Christian Atsu.

    Burnley 2-0 Crystal Palace

It is worth pointing out that Burnley's second goal came just moments after Tom Heaton denied Wilfried Zaha at the other end. What a vital save that was.

    Bournemouth 1-0 Sunderland

Bournemouth put six past Hull not long ago and Sunderland look in similarly generous mood today. Ball given at the back, Junior Stanislas away down the right and just shooting wide. Defensively, Sunderland are a shambles.

    Johann Berg Gudmundsson

Oh, keeper! Burnley double their lead inside the opening 15 minutes - but it has got to go down as a goalkeeping nightmare.

Iceland midfielder Johann Berg Gudmundsson's stinging drive has plenty of power but shouldn't be enough to beat Steve Mandanda. But it does. The France international gets a glove to the ball, only to see it spin into the net behind him.

Long way back for Palace now.

  11. First Burnley goal - made by Lowtonpublished at 15:11 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2016

Here's a graphic of the first Burnley goal. Great work by Matt Lowton. He played the initial pass out wide to Johann Berg Gudmundsson before making his way into the box, where his blocked shot led to Sam Vokes' opener.

    Dan Gosling (11 mins)

It just had to come. Bournemouth have been all over Sunderland, who eventually succumb. Jordan Pickford had just made a good save from Harry Arter, but could do nothing when Dan Gosling was lurking on the edge of the six-yard box. Assist machine Adam Smith with the cross, Gosling not knowing a great deal about the finish, other that it's in the back of the net. Sunderland look woeful.

    Burnley 1-0 Crystal Palace

Come on then Palace, what have you got? The Eagles produce a decent response to that early Sam Vokes goal, but Jason Puncheon's low shot is easily gathered by Tom Heaton. You've got to do better than that against this lad. The Burnley skipper was a human wall at Old Trafford last weekend.

    Bournemouth 0-0 Sunderland

Sunderland, in white and playing left to right, almost come a cropper with some ambitious passing on the edge of their own box. The Black Cats are struggling to get the ball out of their own half at the moment.

    Man City 0-0 Middlesbrough

    Chris Waddle

Manchester City love to be on the front foot, pass the ball and have a lot of movement.

You may see Middlesbrough say 'we'll park the bus and catch you on the break'.

They've got pace and can hurt you. I've not seen a faster player in the Premier League than Adama Traore and he can be a real threat today.

    Man City 0-0 Middlesbrough

Would it surprise you if we said Manchester City were hogging possession in the early stages at the Etihad? Nope. Because they are.

Kevin de Bruyne's teasing cross just evades Sergio Aguero's outstretched size nine, forcing Victor Valdes - Pep Guardiola's former Barca keeper - into action for the first time today.

Doubt that will be his only involvement...

    West Ham 0-0 Stoke City

Stoke corner, bouncing around some heads in the West Ham box. It eventually falls to Phil Bardsley, who temporarily thinks he's Paul Scholes. The volley lands in Marks & Spencer.

    West Ham 0-0 Stoke City

Stoke fans are already in good voice at London Stadium, the strains of Delilah drowning out any bubble noise. Slightly scrappy to begin with, Michail Antonio running down a blind alley on the West Ham right.

    Sam Vokes (2 mins)

What. A. Start! Burnley crack open the fireworks within 90 seconds.

More shambolic Palace defending allows Sam Vokes to shovel in a loose ball from close range. Matt Lowton's low shot was hacked off the line by Scott Dann, but only against his keeper Steve Mandanda's bonce, landing straight at Vokes's feet.

That's the Wales striker's third goal in four games.
